She obviously needs help. I can't tell you how irate I would be if this was my kids teacher. All it would take is one nosy or bored kid and there could have been a horrible tragedy. There is NO excuse for her to be that careless in a room full of 5 year olds.

I totally agree. When I told my 19 YO daughter she said, "wow a future sex offender in training". That is not a normal teenager behavior. Girls shouldn't expect to be spied on in the restroom.

I wish the Cedarcrest / New Hope area would get more fast food options. We have a Wendy's and McDonald's. I'm not a huge fan of either. A Chick-fil-A would be ideal.

I read the story weeks ago and it broke my heart. She is a true hero.

From what I've read, she is the one who retrieved the gun from the truck. I wonder, had it been a group of black people, would they be dismissed as a group of dumbasses or maybe considered a gang? I love all the breaks. Of course, I couldn't say that a few years ago. My son thrives on routine so breaks used to be really hard for him (and me). He's come a long way since then and can handle them much better now. I love all the breaks!! I don't have to get up as early and I'm not running back and forth from school every morning and afternoon. And best of all I have more time with my little fella. He's like my own little comedian. He cracks me up all day.

Today is my husband's 40th birthday so I'm making his favorite- Patty Melts & homemade fries.

We don't really have any traditions. We're both kinda meh when it comes to Valentine's Day. We get each other something but we've never made a big deal about it. That didn't stop me from asking him for jewels though . I'm making our favorite- filets, bang bang shrimp and roasted asparagus. I bought my hubby a strawberry cake but I won't be having any of it.
