  1. And I'm noticing the pattern is, that for the most part it is adults not children (except for the teen texting)that are doing this, which makes you wonder. These are not habits that kids have learned but ones that adults seem to think are ok. I used to dread sitting by kids in a theatre but it seem to me they are better behaved these days than the parents
  2. There is usually a weight range on most carseats,so if you can find out what that is for your car seat that should tell you if you need a bigger one, or you can just go to Wal-Mart and look at the car seats there and see if the next biggest one is suitable for your child.
  3. yep i agree, I always do the mental checklist before even the previews come on: Is my cell phone ringer turned off? Do I have to go to the bathroom? (Yes sometimes you just have to in the middle of the movie but i try before) Am I thirsty or need a drink or need anything from concessions? I like to sit in the middle and i hate trying to stumble over people in the middle of a movie. Oh and if your going to see a 3-D movie having someone walk in front of you can be really entertaining because then it pulls you out of the enviornment, so you have to reorient to get back into it.
  4. The movie theatre in Hiram has $5 tuesdays back so you can go any time then.
  5. At one point i saw a double rainbow I wish I wasn't going out the door when i saw it cause i would have loved to take a pic.
  6. I always liked my name but my mother wanted to name me Ammity Tamar, while a unique name I'm really happy with my common name that my dad decided on.
  7. Ok so I'm wondering what everyone else thinks about proper ettiquette in a movie theatre. I have now been to the movies twice in a row, and witnessed horrible behavior by adults. The first time the idiot (and I use this term nicely) behind me answers his cell in the middle of the movie, talks loudly then after a minute or so of talking states he states he has no idea what movie he's even seeing. He goes on to talk for another minute or so then hangs up. The second time I had a middle aged couple sit down a few seats from me the man opens up his phone and starts texting all through the previ
  8. wow very beautiful, too big for my tastes but yeah definately awesome.
  9. So it only has what effect that the person thinks it will, and then causes brain swelling. I'd say thats the wrong kind of placebo, and I have to agree with you about the "idiots" part, however when you're looking at someone who is ingesting something that they don't know what it will do to them they are probably not thinking anyway.
  10. If it was sent as a read only you cannot make changes. If it was sent as a read and write then you should be able to double click on any of the slides and open up that slide for edititing purposes. Please feel free to pm me with any questions.
  11. I'll post this at work if its not already there
  12. Yes the fair credit collections act says they cannot call you once you have said that this is not their number and they keep on calling is very illegal. Keep your phone bills they can be fined for each time they call you. Here is a site you can go to www.fair-debt-collection.com I just pulled it up there should be all the information you need on here if you can't find what you need, the just google fair credit collection act. Hope this helps too.
  13. OK while this article has a wonderful point the end was BS. Obesity counts for 9.1% of medical spending that means that there is roughly 91 % being spent elsewhere and it being the biggest problem, what about gangs and shooting and violence related injuries, fights, drunken fights, domestic violence or drunk driving related fatalities. I would like to know what the statistics are compared to. Like I said I don't disagree with the article its very telling, but I've never had $3000, or 4,000 worth of medical debt or charges and what I have had is not related to my weight. I've known very few
  14. LOL that was cute, it was a skit from funny or die.com, I would love it if someone actually did that. Thank you I'd never seen that one :-)
  15. At the end it says he is facing up to 10 years in prison for 10 counts along with a 250,000 fine for each count, which is sad that raping a 9 year old only gets you one year in jail and a 250,000 fine.

What most people also don't realize is that if you cannot panic the human body will usually float, so if you can relax you can float until you get enough energy to swim. THe people who don't float as easily are usually more muscular. So next time you find yourself out to far float to rest then slowly swim back.
  17. I have taken it and it worked well for me, it is kind of the generic form of Lexapro, Lexapro is supposed to be cleaner and better but I had adverse reactions to it. But really its just individual chemistry on stuff like this. I had horrible effects to some anti depressants that others called a dream come true. So just pay careful attention to how you feel and let your doctor know whats happening.
  18. yep no one from Window's Live will ever ask for that, and I'm on it and didn't get one report them if you can.
  19. Thx, I live in Dallas, and I did update my profile, I don't look at my proflie much so I didn't know that was on there. Hmm I've never heard of that, it sounds interesting
  20. This may be a complete shot in the dark cause I know so very little about this but, I know sometimes the codecs for WMP may not be there. Maybe an update took them away or something. So I would try a search for WMP codecs. LIke i said I could be completely wrong.
  21. Thank you all for the wonderful ideas, I will definately be trying a few. including stopping by the botique. I hope everyone has a great day :-)
  22. I am looking to meet new people in the community. I've been here about 6 months and am looking to get to know people in the area. I'm just wondering if there are any book clubs, or some kind of organizations to meet people. I do not like loud music, or drinking so clubs and such are out for me. I'm also not looking for any kind of romantic hook up, I'm already involved with someone. I also love the theater and did backstage stuff when I was in college. So if anyone has any ideas or someone I can get in touch with that would be great. :-)
  23. I love the show too. If she likes the show, you might want to recommend the books. They are by Charlaine Harris. Each season is based off of one book.
  24. This is an excellent point, and one I think we will be seeing alot more. I have seen many reports on the news about foreclosed homes, not only not being maintained but being vandalized and just left to rot, hence bringing home values in the area down. If no one stands up and says someone needs to maintain these homes then nothing will happen. Hopefully the issue will get pushed everywhere, because this is definitely a nationwide issue, to hold the banks responsible for the homes. I mean in a time when people need jobs it would be nice for the banks to hire some people to go around and fix
  25. I'm glad to hear that the law is reasonable here, and at least there is one here regarding noise. I'm one of those people who does not like the BOOM BOOM from the cars but am not too annoyed if it is during reasonable hours, not past midnight kind of stuff. As far as being old, I never liked loud music when I was 16 or any age, so if that made me old then would that make those making those comments age 3 or so? Just remember to someone who is younger you are always older and will continue to get older. But back to subject, thank you for posting the info, and you all are right, it goes ulti
