Remember when 278 was a 2 lane road... 120 was only 2 lanes as well. Arnolds store in New Hope was OPEN! When we lived in Burnt Hickory it was a twelve mile drive to the Winn Dixie at 120/East Paulding(back when it was DRAGSTRIP Rd!). When I lived at Momma's over on Industrial way, we could sit out by the pool and hear the cars at the dragstrip on summer Saturday nights! When we had the big snowstorm back in 81/82? we tied a water sled to the back of Alan Poor's jeep and went sledding down the dirt roads! Did I mention we were nuts?

That's what I heard too. They just signed a new lease.

Michelle Obama is here to speak at Northpoint Church and naturally that shuts all of North Point Parkway down and any hopes for access to GA 400. UGH! Been stuck in the office since 1pm. No going out for lunch and now, no going home!!! I think it's great that she is here to promote and celebrate the first anniversary of her campaign to reduce childhood obesity. Not to be rude, but hey First Lady, GET OUTTA TOWN ALREADY! I gotta get home, preferably before any precipitation ensues!

No. Never, ever would I, but enough about the INLAWS... No it was aggressive and to see a possum out at 1pm in my front sodden lawn community was way beyond the norm. I hug bunnies and what not, I am not going to SIC my dog on an innocent creature. This thing is aggressive and way outta normal. I was asking for help. Thanks for the negative..

It is 1:00 pm on one of the most glorious January days when I and my faithful pal ELMO the pit bull/mutt mix are confronted with a possum in my front yard. WTH! It is daytime, daylight, possums are nocturnal!! Of course Elmo had my back and took said possum to the mat but... I am seriously concerned for the health and safety of my family, esp. ELMO. Possums dont route thru your yard in the daylight. OMG. I am freaking out. I called the non emergency # and they told me to bag him up and report to animal control when they reopen tomorrow.
