Reading the book didn't ruin it for me. Nor did I expect it to follow the book line for line, It followed the turn of events pretty well. It was made with that grainy 70's feel for one. I don't for care that. That being said there was more action and interaction between the characters that if it had been put into the movie that would have made it so much better. Its just a watered down version of the book. IMO

Well got this movie from Netflix today and was really excited to watch it. I had read the book which was great and the movie had all the making of a hit with Matthew MCconaughey, Trace Adkins, Josh Lucas and others. Was the biggest waste of my time ever. They just basically did an outline of the book with none of the best parts put in the movie. I am really disappointed. Next Battlefield Los Angles.

Just wanted let ya'll know something I just found out about Cafe 4:13. They are not normally open at night but this Friday evening they are trying out karaoke night. Its for families so no alcohol but lots of good food and fun to be had. Give this place a shot if you love good Southern food. I have become hooked on this place.....LOL Have a wonderful glorious day!!

Enjoy it!!! Because this too will pass and you will wonder where did the time go. Yep not gonna get much sleep for a while or spotless house. But one smile from that baby and the world is right again. I always tried to remember that this little baby is doing everything for the first time and you get to be a part of it. I was there when my kids took their first breath, ate for the first time and so many other things. The first time they slept through the night I couldn't sleep and had to check to see if they were breathing....lol Things will get better.

Fred is very focused and is giving his all to get this business up and running. He used to have a catering service. He is one of those people that never stops moving. He is a great person.

They are closed on Mondays. They have a wide variety. Prices are pretty good. I paid 5 dollars for a veggie plate. It had a good size portion of 4 veggies and cornbread. Everthing from biscuits to country fried steak, subs, hot dogs and hamburgers. Pretty much something for everyone. They also have daily specials. Everthing is made to order, Also deserts made by a local baker.

I have and it was great!! I got the veggie plate and it was so good. The mashed potatoes were real and I got gravy on them. The squash was fresh and cooked perfect. The black eyed peas had been cooked from dry beans and chunks of bacon. The coleslaw and cornbread were made from scratch. Impressed me with the good quality of the food and the serving were generous. Glad I stopped there after church!!!

Trust me I loathe WallyWorld too!! I will go at 8am on a weekday morning and there is no one in there and the shelves are stocked so I get in and out of there fairly fast. I have been couponing for at least 15 years. I get samples a lot. They a lot of times have really good coupons and with the sample you should have an idea if you like the product. I agree with the expiration dates. You are lucky if the coupon lasts a month.
