I'm so mad about this! I realize it's only trash service....now, but what's next??!! It's crap, I don't want to change trash service, I like mine! Waste Industries does not pick up their recycling except every other week and most of our trash is recycling and right now my service picks up EVERY WEEK! I despise Waste Industries, their customer service rivals Comcast in POOR SERVICE! Yep! Lots of exclamation points!! I'm spitting mad! Who can decipher where those lines are in the City of Hiram? Received a bill from Waste Industries yesterday....we don't use Waste Industries , we use A-OK Trash in Douglasville. Called Waste Industries, they were closed, left a message asking why they were sending me a bill? I do not use them and would never use them. Got up this morning to call A-OK Trash just to make sure, their phones are answered by Waste Industries!! Another local small business gobbled up by stupid Waste Industries. We use Hale Automotive in Hiram. John and Amy Hale own it and they are the best! Reasonable prices, honest work. They also have an afterhours box and parking spaces in case something happens after normal "office hours".

Thanks for the "heads up". I always get called for the blood drives in Douglasville and I always end up asking if they have anything in Paulding. Thankfully the Hardy car dealerships have been having one about every 8 weeks and we've been trying to go to those. Great to hear there are more going on this holiday season!

I don't profess to be an expert, but I believe that GOOGLE can be your friend if you are trying to weigh the pros and cons of toll roads. What I found was that it worked in some areas and it didn't in others. As a Californian now in Georgia, I can tell you that toll roads are a "GODSEND" in California. I keep checking back to see if ATT Uverse has made it out to Paulding County and so far it has not come out here as of last week. Comcast is the worst!!!
