    Ain't that the truth! I am related to 50% of the people that lived between Dallas and the Etowah River in 1920. So my three wives were from South Carolina, New Hampshire and Nebraska.

    I live on John Walraven Road, just off of Old Cartersville Highway. We are in the Dallas Malitia District. We moved here June of 1956 from Cartersville. My ancestors have owned this property or the adjoining properties since 1832.

    I 'heard' all county employees would get their jobs back with full pay and no furlough days...Yet I 'heard' lower taxes. How do you raise expenses and lower tax revenues at the same time? This is a puzzle to me...

    Just look around at the roads in our area. As they are improved, widened, whatever...more and more businesses move in. 278, 120, 92, 61. Let's not forget Ridge Road, Nebo Road, 381, Bobo Road, Macland Road, East Paulding Drive.

    I have a question. What are the Paulding folks gonna do when the rest of the Region votes YES? Why? New and improved roads equals jobs and Northwest Georgia (Region 1) is begging for jobs. It is a long ride from Chattooga or Dade to Atlanta.

    It does include all trips to the individual clients that she serves, all trips to the various meetings, all trips to talk with politicians plus all trips to her group meetings and much more. LPPT is always on the go to somewhere.

    The way I read it there will be NO Tsplost tax on any fuel...only the existing taxes...this leaves them room to add to the fuel tax if needed.

    Save your breath, Laurie. These folks would rather let Marietta and Atlanta control the distribution of the fuel tax monies and control which projects get on the to do list. They do not want to have local control over our roads as they expect the State government to look out for them. A perfect example is Hwy 92...how long has it been? 30...40 years?
