I heard a caller on Boortz this morning say that Hank Johnson (you know Guam will capsize Hank) fears that when the oil stop coming out of the pipe the water will run in and drain the Gulf of Mexico. That would stop the hurricanes from hitting New Orleans.

But didn't you say that Glenn was an HONEST person?

So this is a 240 two-stroke? V-6? I have owned quite a few bass boats and race boats, but I have never messed with one of these before. I know people that will run the cheapest oil they can find, and that's great until there is a problem. In my opinion spending $5.00 a gallon more to get a little warm and fuzzy feeling about protecting an $18,000 outboard just makes sense.

I don't know anything about this engine. I would stick with the Mercury oil.
-
What motor do you have? Make and size. I have a 150 Yamaha and all I use is Yamaha oil. I buy one or two gallons at a time. I'll use maybe 5 gallons a year. I buy it from Smyrna Marine or D&P Marine on Austell Road.

And according to Ithy it's just you, Whitey and me that caused Jerry to lose his job. Evidently the majority of the voters thought he was a scoundrel. Maybe someone should tell Ithy the old "birds of a feather" theory.

Have you tried Sutter Homes Red or Sweet Red. Same wine, different label. Sam's has it for about $7.00 for a 1.5 litre bottle. If you like wine with a little sweet finish.

If I remember correctly Kim Cobb was on p.com a good bit before her landslide win over Paulette Braddock Rakestraw. Wonder if Paulette is going to be on p.com to discuss the issues for this campaign?

Sweetwater Happy Ending is like that. Pretty good kick at 9% alcohol. But with 288 calories it's not something I want to drink very often.
-
Don't know if you were around p.com before you joined on September 18, 2007 but you might be interested to know that Jerry Shearin used this forum almost nightly during his last successful campaign. If a candidate has nothing to hide and is actually capable of answering the questions, this is a very good campaign tool. However, if a candidate doesn't know what he / she is doing it is a good place to be exposed as not being capable. The thing about the people in the p.com political discussions is that WE VOTE.

I don't do Miller either. Ranger's a/c is 6.5%. I like the India Pale Ales.

Tell it all brother, tell it all!
-
Damn brother, don't believe Ida told that.
-
Deep down there are only two teams of beer drinkers. Bud and Miller. Coors Light doesn't qualify as beer. It has less flavor and alcohol than spring water.
-
I usually keep some 420 and some IPA around. I like Sweetwater's Happy Ending also.
-
I have discovered New Belgium Brewery and I can't find one of theirs I don't like. Fat Tire. Skinny Dip, Mighty Arrow, 1554 and my favorite, Ranger. They are like the Ben and Jerry's of beer. Anyone else?

Target paper towels are the best. Dukes is the best mayo. Kroger donuts are addicting. Kroger bottled water is better than any other.

Tornado Warning?

I concur.

If you hurry you can still catch that special at the Varsity. BTW, you forgot JUST TOO DAMN GOOD.

I never heard of a bank in Paulding being robbed 10 years ago. Now it seems like it happens a couple of times a year. I guess it's the improved access. And I'm not talking about the new airport.
-
Seems that we have become a target for bank robbers.

Yeah. I'm not taking a vacation next week. But what I don't understand is the "highly trained census worker". I have never seen one of these gathering info specifically for unemployment.

I agree. But this does give the government more room to fudge the numbers. The true numbers would cause widespread panic and probably a collapse of the entire system.
