I would be concerned if anything I read here or any website actually influenced my vote. I see all this as playground banter. I am yet to see anyone on either side that has a foggy notion as to what they are talking about. This is the bullcheeze the politicians want to see. You should call him up and make some suggestions. My point was that Tommie has brought some true conservatism to the BOC. I have watched him like a hawk because I wasn't absolutely sure about him in the last election when he was running against Larry Hart. I felt like I was taking a chance supporting Tommie but he has proven to be worthy of that support. I am sure he would not only listen to, but do the research on any idea that you present to him.

In high school I was expecting to go and had planned to follow in my uncle's footsteps and join to be a pilot. He was with D/229th 1st Cav Smiling Tigers Assault Helicopters. He was shot down while flying Hueys, received the Silver Star for his part in rescuing a downed helicopter crew and went back for another tour flying Cobras. And like Grumps said, he didn't talk about Vietnam for many years. Only recently has he told me some of the stories.

Our central heat hardly ever comes on and there are many mornings when we wake up to a 58 degree house in the winter (if I forget to fill the woodburner at night). But nothing sleeps better than a cold house and an electric blanket. And I used to work outside so I like to spoil myself a little these days.
