You actually saw a tornado?
-
We got an inch of rain but it was hardly worth it. It will take me all day to clean up the mess the storm made.

Our power was restored 10 minutes ago. A large muscadine vine blew out of a tree and was draped over the power lines. We called Greystone and warned them that when they got the power on the vine was going to short out and blow a fuse or a transformer. We had power for about 5 seconds before we heard the transformer blow. Our little Honda generator did a great job last night. We lost a few trees. Don't know if it was all straight line wind or if there was a small twister. Not really much difference.

Not true.

There are laws protecting legal immigrants from discrimination. If I don't abide by these laws I get fined. The illegal immigrants know this and have no fear of any kind of punishment if they are caught. I agree, something needs to be done, but this crap that the local Republican party is hyping up does nothing. Bad idea and nothing but an attempt to get a few votes from uninformed people. AND could someone tell me why this is still in the cafe?

Story on WSB TV this morning about a carpet manufacturer in Dalton not hiring a Hispanic man because he didn't have a green card. He didn't have a green card because he was an AMERICAN CITIZEN. So now he is suing the carpet manufacturer for discrimination. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Where is my old Republican Party and what happened to the idea of a smaller, less intrusive government. You guys are sucking that government teat harder than a welfare broodmare. Absolutely sickening.
-
Oh come on. Just admit that you didn't know what the hell you were talking about and let it go. Obviously Jason is either just another bullcheezeting politician or he is completely ignorant about these two issues. Having Hispanic roots doesn't make him an expert on illegal imigration.

Want to see where your money goes? Here ya go: My link

Hey! I like your new strategy. At least I don't have to wade through all the bullcheeze to get to an empty comment. Thanks

As long as I am being noticed.
-
So your link stays and mine gets deleted?
-
No. The name of the company is Site Technologies. Their GA office is in Roswell.

I think so too. I will say that those little fishy thingys and someone who boasts about their religion doesn't eliminate them but I sure watch my back a lot closer.

It would all depend on whether it was presented in a truthful, factual and non-slanted version or if it had this vote buying spin that Jason is trying. He is trying to appeal to the frustration we all have with the Hispanic illegals. Someone who is ignorant to how this actually works it might appear to be a good thing. But from those of us that have USED this system I can tell you that once you get past the "let's get them Mexicans out of here" hype, there ain't much else to it.

Spoken like someone that has no idea of what they are talking about. Have you actually used EVerify? If the federal government wanted to stop the illegal aliens from coming into this country you damn well better believe that it could be stopped by this time next week. It would bankrupt the country. This is nothing but a silly assed little game that the government is playing to make everyone think they are actually doing something. It is as much a vote buying tactic as the war on drugs. EVerify has not and never will do anything to slow the influx of illegal aliens into this count

Hilarious. I am getting these silly little negative post votes from people that don't have the ability to debate the topic. Keep piling them on. At least I know you are reading it.
-
I disagree. Why is it that something Arizona implements is good enough for us? Did I miss something? Is Arizona now known for its superior intelligence? Another problem I have with EVerify is the government is making businesses do its leg work. Between taxes, insurance and government regulations, it's is getting hard to show a profit as a small business. But I guess some Republicans are still hoping the old trickle down economics will work out one day.

Be sure to say the blessing before you eat or they will throw you out on your ass. Assuming you ride your donkey to the restaurant.

I'm guessing you know the difference between illegals and Hispanics? I seriously doubt that the company that did the hardscapes in Dallas were knowingly working any illegal aliens. I work on projects with that company from time to time and they aren't nearly that stupid. Everything this guy is grandstanding about is nothing more than what is now standard procedure in Cobb County after the courthouse fiasco a few months ago. It doesn't cost anything and it does very little to solve the problem. It's just a way to impress someone that knows nothing about it. Let me just say that EV

Because C&S is better?

C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar on Cobb Parkway. This place is in the Kroger shopping center between the river and Cumberland Parkway. Best seafood I have ever had. Really nice place. / Oh good grief! Hey Jason, they have a website. Guess you'll have to Google it. Seems as though SOMEONE doesn't have anything important to do today.

Now that's old school.

I know what Tommie Graham is capable of (by the way, the only stupid question is the question that is never asked). Exactly what is it that Mr. Collett is proposing that is supposed to be so superior to what Tommie is doing? Instead of trying to make Mr. Collett look good by trying to make Tommie look bad (which always backfires), why don't you try selling me your candidate on his own merits. I am assuming that he has an idea of what he wants to do???

Stop by Duron or Sherwin Williams. Better yet, take one of the drawers or doors by and let them tell you exactly what you need to do. If you have or can borrow an air compressor, you can buy a gravity fed sprayer at Home Depot for about $80 that works great. I just painted some chairs I built and I was amazed at how good the sprayer worked. You might get lucky and find one laying in the road. That where I got mine.
