I couldn't help but notice that there was a division of opinions amongst my friends on this subject. What brought it to my attention was that an overwhelming majority of my democratic friends seemed to be okay with the jury's decision. But so were a lot of my republican friends. So I thought education and a knowledge of how the justice system works could be the line of demarcation, but there were educated people on both sides. Then I found it. Almost absolute, my friends that are very religious seemed as though they wanted to smell some flesh burn to pay for the death of Caylee. My "not

I'm sure she knows more than was revealed. I think the general public got caught up in the media hoopla and turned this trial into something more than what it was. Thankfully our justice system is above a lynch mob or something that resembles the Iraqi government during Sadaam Hussien's dictatorship. And thank goodness Nancy Grace had no bearing on the jurors. Hopefully Nancy lost her career in TV with her antics before and during the trial.

This wasn't a trial to find who killed Caylee! This was to determine whether there was enough evidence to convict Casey of killing her. The defense attorneys' job was to get her off. They worked their butts off on this case and they absolutely deserve to celebrate. Just realized what is causing the dynamics here. Everyone wanted to burn someone, hell, anyone, for the death of this sweet little girl. This trial wasn't about Caylee, it was about Casey. Hard concept for some to get their head around (not aimed at you). You could get in more trouble than Casey with those terr

Yep, because accidents NEVER happen. And everyone is always just like June Cleaver. There is no doubt that the entire family puts the "fun" in dysfunctional. But the evidence was presented to a jury and there was something that made the jury decide unanimously that she was not guilty. My gut feeling last week was that she would be found not guilty. The prosecution didn't have a case. Maybe they listened to too much Nancy Grace as well.

Now that's not how O.J. or Ray Lewis did it.

Actually it is. Remember the little innocent until proven guilty thingy?

She wasn't being tried for improper disposal of human remains. She was found guilty for lying. As for the partying part; nope, don't think that's anyone's business.
-
She has turned into a broken record. Wouldn't be surprised if her overuse of the Tot Mom thing didn't just flush her career down the crapper. In a few years we will see her outside the Union Mission drinking Thunderbird wine, spinning in circles while screaming TOT MOM TOT MOM TOT MOM!!!!

What's scary is that some of the idiots on here could actually be selected for jury duty. So how do you geniuses know she was guilty? And by the way, Caylee wasn't on trial. Casey was on trial and the justice system worked just as is was designed. Next time lay off the Nancy Grace BS.

You would have been better off to have gone outside and started blowing them off their front end loaders with your Ithaca. You'd be out by now and could have ridded the county of those po-dunk, white trash bastards that continue to muddy the water around here. Jus sayin.

Jerry Turner in Taylorsville. He took down 57 trees for me (he prefers pine. I did have the limbs to deal with, but I had two years of firewood for me and a buddy.

Clark Creek on the north side of the creek. Lot of bank without the rip-rap to deal with. I fish the area from a boat, so you're in a decent place. Wrong time of year to fool with 'Toona. Wait until the first part of October/

What I find ironic is the guy over at Paulding Pud-it was blowing Jerry Shearin when he wanted fire tax and all the other taxes to support his buddy's development business, but he sees Graham's comments as an atrocity. These people, including the Paulding Republican Party clowns, are so two-faced and agenda oriented that it lowers their perceived intelligence to that of bickering middle schoolers. Someone please tell Tom to shut the f**k up!

I planted some buckwheat in the edge of my garden. I was told that buckwheat attracts an insect that eats the insect that lays the bores that get in squash.

I saw Ms. Braddock on TV last night. Luckily we had the sound muted.

Boortz is 100% correct on this one. And I fail to see what color has to do with your target.

I use a mix of mushroom compost and bagged topsoil in my raised beds. Also throw a couple of handfulls of bone meal around each plant every few weeks. And some Miracle Grow for tomatoes every couple of weeks. I keep the sucker vines pruned. This is where a vine will start growing in the "v" between the main stalk and another limb. Over watering is one of the worst things I have seen people do with tomatoes. I water twice a week during this heat. But I always check the soil at root ball level to see how much moisture is in the soil. Also watch the leaves and when they start to l

Had my favorite summer meal. Dice 5 tomatoes, 1 onion, 3 jalapenos, 1 bunch of cilantro, juice two limes, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt. Mix well and let rest an hour. Brown ground turkey breast, add Ortega Taco seasoning. Warm the shells. Meat in shells topped the the picco. Grab an ice cold Corona and enjoy.

You might be better off to buy some new plants and start over. Still plenty of time. If there was a lot of soap involved you probably will need to remove the contaminated soil. Replace it with mushroom compost mixed with top soil (50/50) and you'll have tomatoes from August until frost. You'll need to put about a 1/4 cup of bone meal around each plant to neutralize the sodium content of the mushroom compost. This will keep aphids off your plants. Instead of soap try Neem Oil next time. One tablespoon diluted in a gallon of water and you won't have any pests. And it is organic.
-
The bone meal help with the aphids by neutralizing the sodium in the soil. The sodium clogs the arteries in the leaves and these clogs are what attracts the aphids. I also use neem oil to repel the unwanted insects.

And I thought the squirrels had gathered all the nuts by now. -
I add a little bone meal, a little garden lime and about once a week a little Miracle Grow for tomatoes. I try to be mostly organic, but the Miracle Grow really helps. Not an expert by any means, but I only water when the dirt at about two inches deep stops looking damp or darker than the dirt on top. Or when the leaves start to slightly wilt. My experience is that the tomatoes have better flavor (even though they are smaller) when you allow the plant to go into a little stress.

I downsized this year. 14 tomatoes, 10 or 12 squash, 10 Jalapenos, 2 Thai Chilli, a row of green beans, cilantro and a row of BUCKWHEAT. oH, AND FOUR ROSEMARY.
