Can't say that I blame Jack for bailing out on this bunch of inbred backwoods hillbillies.

I like Taco Mac. I like Mia's wings better, but Taco Mac has a great beer selection.

It's the Hillbilly Girls Gone Wild bus.

Mia's Wing Max Cafe has the best wings. But if you liked Birdies, you might not like Mia's. Birdies' wing were not that good to me.

I know a Baptist pastor that operates the same way. My guess is they blindsided the mayor with some self-serving agenda that he didn't agree with. I know a little about two of the families involved and have been very disappointed in one of them. Lets just say I know they were raised better than they are acting lately.

And how well the soil perks.

He taught my kids 20 years ago. He asks about them every time I see him somewhere. If there is a rat in Hiram, I'd be willing to bet it has nothing to do with Jack. Sounds like the others have had some previous problems with ethics.

If I owned a septic tank pumping company all my trucks would have our motto on them. YOUR sheeze IS OUR BREAD AND BUTTER

I have used Seabrook in Douglasville a few times and had good results.

Pump every 3 to 5 years depending on how many live in your house. Honestly, I have gone much longer before. If there is water running on top of the ground, it is probably too late for pumping. This is a sign that the drain field is no longer working and a new system needs to be installed.

AARP is the king of junk mail. Now they put this big hunk of cardboard (membership card) in the envelope so you can't just shred it without opening and separating the crap so it will fit in the shredder.

Olga's had good food. I'm just not into trough eating (buffet). It's just not clean when everyone handles the serving spoons (lord knows some folks haven't washed their hands since they went poop).

You wanna buy some mothballs for that Alabama stuff?

I can eat just about anything. What I don't like is when a restaurant cover their lack of cooking skills with a half a pound of garlic. BTW, to our Yankee friends. I agree that New York has some good food, but there are also some great restaurants in Georgia. Just stay away from the chains.

So why is it Italian food in NYC is so much better? I know it is because I have had it there. Do the Italians forget how to cook when they cross the Mason Dixon? Heck, I have had better Italian food at a New York diner than anything I have ever had around here.

A better question might be: who cares if Olive Garden comes to Hiram. I've had better food from a microwave.

A couple of things my wife did different. She used beef tenderloin (yeah, filet mignon) for the meat. She seared it then cubed it before putting it in the stew. We used a Pinot also. Oh, instead of flour to thicken we used corn starch. This keeps it from getting that uncooked flour taste at the end. It's a good starting point for stew, everyone needs to tweak it a bit to their taste I'm sure.

Let me know what you think.

It took a Formula 1 Engineer to figure this out.

I can hear it now. "Baby, we're getting low on fuel. Pull my finger." -
The book was great, the movie was okay but lacking compared to the book. I really don't see how you make a series from a story line with a specific ending.

I had forgotten that Bart Starr was an Alabamaian. I was actually trying to remember any big time active players. Julio is a wide receiver and is EXPECTED and PAID to catch the ball at crunch time. His inability to make the clutch catches cost the Falcons two games at the end of the season. I think he will be okay in a couple of seasons, but he ain't in Tuscaloosa any more Toto. I should add that I think Bama has the best coach in college football. Bama fans are about like Bulldog fans, way too mouthy. And unless LSU shuts them up they will be hard to live with. But the winner of

I did not know that about my self.

Julio does great against Tampa Bay. Where was he Monday night against the Saints? Where was he three weeks ago against the Texans? Where is he when the Falcons need a CLUTCH catch? Maybe he will be more dependable after his rookie year, but he is a rookie and he plays like one most of the time. Any other Alabama players that ever made it big in the NFL other than Stabler and Namath?

Cook those greens in red wine.
