I like Southwest. When my daughter was in her early teens a female Southwest captain let her sit in the pilot's seat while the plane was loading. She has been an airplane nut since that day.

Last night they were sitting on Rosedale Road watching the intertsection of Rosedale and Pool Road. Which brings another gripe to mind. Why the heck would they put a traffic light at Rosedale and the Silver Comet Trail when 1/8 mile up the road there is an extremely dangerous intersection that should have had a traffic light two years ago?

So the gasy guy isn't leaving without a ticket. We always know he is the one that sucks (no pun intended). So he gets canned, he cries, he snot cries and then he gets all pissy.

What I usually do is get the person in touch with a charity that I support. They have the people that know how to handle the situation. If they are in need, they will do it. If they are running a scam, they won't get past these people. Plus, it's tax deductable for me.

Mine is to whom much is given, much is required. I can tell you that I prefer being the giver and not the receiver. Not to be ugly, but anyone that doesn't get this is just ignorant. They may never learn, but if they ever do, they will never forget.

I would rather be scammed and give money to a person that didn't deserve it than to be an ass to a person that was truly in need. I'll never have to answer for being scammed.

Atlanta might have been calm, but my dad was part of the GSP riot squad and he saw quite a bit of action in some of the rural Georgia towns. Most of the time they were protecting the courthouses in the various county seats. Those were some bad times, not only for the blacks, but also for the families of law enforcement personel that had to risk their lifes to protect public property from destruction during one of the riots.

I always use Contractor Hauling and Services. They are in Carrollton but have as good or better prices as anyone around here. If you need it to sit for an extended period, this is where they really beat the others. CH&S is their website.

Most Georgia trout streams aren't really ideal for fly fishing. That is if your idea of fly fishing is anything more than rolling a fly. The Hooch has some decent spots. Some of the best fly fishing is Lake Allatoona, but you will need a boat. This is for stripers and hybrid. You might want to go by Nature's Tackle Box in the Kmart shopping center in Hiram. They have fly tying supplies and can give you more info.
