  1. I like Uverse but it is $170 a month for tv, phone and internet.
  2. What I didn't like about the little Glock was that by the time I got it somewhat comfortable it wasn't as concealable. But like I said about the LCP, they aren't something I would want to go shoot a few boxes of shells with. All of the small, higher caliber pistols want to jump around in my hand a little bit. Really effects the accuracy. But these are point blank to 15 feet max guns in my opinion.
  3. There is a fine line between pain relief and addiction. It is easy to become addicted to not hurting. In some cases I don't think it matters as long as a person is not suffering. To the OP. Try Physicians Pharmacy on Austell Road.
  4. I'm not a gun expert by any means. How much difference is there in a 9mm and a 360?
  5. The Ruger LCP is not a shooter. It is for personal defense. It dang near hurts as much to shoot as it does to get shot by it.
  6. It would be great if we could put everyone together and get this memorial completed. I thought there was a memorial in place, but obviously not. This was a day that (in my opinion) showed what our community was all about. Sensible people run from danger, heroes run into it. There were a lot of heroes that day.
  7. I am too rough on a handgun to spend the money for a Kimber. I can buy 6 LCPs for the price of one Kimber.
  8. I like my Glocks, but they are not my weapon of choice. The small Glocks do not fit my hand at all. The large Glocks which I have, are too large to carry concealed and too heavy. For those reasons I carry a Ruger LCP.
  9. The documentary also referred to Cornelius Moore as Cartersville airport. It is actually Rockmart / Cedartown airport. GA 92 turns 90 degrees at Crossroads. The road from Crossroads to New Hope used to be Spur 92. Flight 242 is a very tragic but interesting part of Paulding County history.
  10. I agree! I went through their Gestapo check point one day talking on my cell phone, trying to get out the door so I could carry on a business conversation and thought I was going to have to slap granny to get her to back the hell off. I hate Walmart and have to swallow my pride once a year to pay for a Sam's membership. I absolutely loath Sam's, but they carry one item that you can't buy anywhere else.
  11. Yep. I don't do online bill pay. I don't do online banking.
  12. Return address. I hate filling in the return address. I use St Judes labels all the time. But they send pics of kids with cancer with the labels. I just ain't going to use those labels unless I send them some money. Now I will shred them ('cause it has my name and address on it), but I will not use them unless I pay.
  13. One thing that I have never seen mentioned is how close this pilot came to pulling off this landing. Really one heck of a feat to have deadsticked a loaded passenger jet from 15,000 feet to a landing on a two lane highway. Had he cleared that first pole with his wing it might have worked out for him.
  14. I won't use them unless I send them a donation. I'm not crazy about the labels because I never put my first name in the return address.
  15. My link There is an audio of this somewhere. I found a short version of the audio but the site was loaded with pop ups. This is chilling. What is fascinating to me is how calm the flight crew is on the audio. I lived in Cobb County in 1977 but my uncle lived a very short distance from the crash site.
  16. Newspaper - 25 cents Laptop - $350
  17. Wouldn't that be "tail" in this case?
  18. Southern Airways had two crashes, this one in 1977 and one in 1970 that killed the Marshall football team. The real tragedy is that most of us have the technology on our cell phones now that would have prevented the New Hope crash.
  19. Like my dad used to say, don't pull it, it'll grow.
  20. As soon as the "style" stops getting the attention it will fade fast.
  21. Wish all I had to worry about was how other people dressed.
  22. I drive to Dunwoody. Long story and a long drive. But they have been doing mine for years.
  23. Four wheeling might have been the wrong terminology. These were four wheel drive trucks. Made one heck of a mess.
  24. Does anyone know anything about three people that were "unfortunately incarcerated" last Tuesday evening while four wheeling?
