What I find strange is that I have been in Atlanta my entire life, I'm talking in the guts of Atlanta, and I had never heard of an area called Pittsburgh.

I could put up with a few gnats and skeeters. I'm sure the gators will eat the snakes. Looks like flounder and redfish to me.

I did find this little fishing shack in that area. My link

That's ALL BANNIE. When I was in high school I was a lifeguard on Lake Blackshear in Cordele. Worked with a guy from Americus, aka 'Macus. Gnats and skeeters.

I would go check it out about July. Folkston is on the very edge of the Okefenokee. The three things in nature that I hate the most are gnats, skeeters and snakes. But some people get used to all three. I don't. Gnats drive me bat sheeze crazy. Mosquitoes make me swell up like a bee sting. And snakes make me scream like a woman. Hey, even Superman had his kryptonite.

Used to work with a guy from Folkston. Gnats, skeeters, snakes.

Oh dang! What is even more scary is that this looks like me carrying my granddaughter. Seriously.

I find it amusing that most northerners lump everyone in the south together as not being able to drive in snow. My dad was GSP. We were in his patrol car one day in the snow and were passed by a guy with Michigan plates flying along in the left lane. We patiently eased along and he wrote the guy a ticket for driving too fast for conditions about a half mile up the road where he crashed into the guardrail. Yep, welcome to Georgia.

I think we're just smart enough to stay in the house until it warms up outside, even if it does take three days. Didn't I see videos of Chicago during a snow a few weeks back and they were sliding into each other? Isn't that in the mid-west, cuz? Wonder if they had their essencials.

Young Monica and Johnny Beckman. I always thought Beckman was stoned.

I love Monica and Amanda Davis, but Brenda Wood is my favorite.

Doh! I went down that road with a Jag. My first and last.

Somebody throw her a biscuit.

I think she was talking about the wild wing place. I think you are referring to the Z place.

There is one in Douglasville on Bankhead Hwy about 1 mile east of Hwy 92 (south). Stoddards. Real nice range.

If guns kill, spoons made Rosie O'Donnell fat.

There is hardly a time that I don't have a gun on me. And that includes places that have signs. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that these places are more likely targets for predators. I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. Or I would rather be caught with one than without one.

I agree. I hope they do well. They might do well to become a commerce member and enlist for a little constructive criticism. Believe me when I say I want to see some American owned businesses prosper around here. They do have some tasty food. -
Started a new thread with your answer.

This article was written by a friend, Chuck Beckman, for OCAtlanta. Many area commercial contractors think the time has come for a new approach to an old problem. The plight of Georgia farmers’ inability to fill seasonal positions with affordable and legal labor has been covered extensively in the media for months. Similar issues facing the state’s construction industry are just as challenging, but they have largely remained in the shadows. According to Harley Ray, Vice President of Morley Hardscapes, a division of J. J. Morley Enterprises, “Today, it’s hard to find skilled laborers w
