Sounds silly, but a serious question about my finger
subby1 replied to subby1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Update: I did not use anything, and all went well. The place was PACKED!! A full house made the pain vanish instantly. I had a great time, and just mark me down for every Wednesday night until further notice~ -

It will definitely be cleaned, peroxided and alcohol-ed before I go gluing together! -

Okay then. I'm gonna wait until I finish doing some carburetor work today, then try it. The gas and solvents might break it open, and I use latex gloves during the solvent work. -

Do you reckon it will hold up with me banging on the piano for 3 hours tonight?? Or should I bring some with me, just in case? -
The front corner of my left index finger got a small cut about a week ago. It healed up about 80% after a few days of extreme pain. Well, I played piano last night in Villa Rica for a wedding anniversary, and it has split back open. I've had people tell me I could superglue it back together, but I'm a little freaked out by doing something like that. Has anyone ever tried this, and if so did it work? I have to play again tonight at Olive Tree in Hiram, and I need to keep this sucker closed up. A band-aid simply won't work, plus it's hard to play with a band aid on your finger. The super glue th

That's the only problem that I've ever known about. I post pics all the time of mowers and things I sell. I use a very simple program that compresses the pictures, so they will fall under the limits for posting. Today's digital cameras are overkill in their size, IMO. For a typical 8x10 photo, you really don't need more than 2 Megapixels. Yet, most cameras today are 5 times that much. It's just a resource hog, and most average consumers do not realize that the LENSES are much more important for good pics than the M'pixels, by a landslide. I've seen camera's that were over 10 MP's and the pictu

To record DVD's, or playable formats on your computer, you will probably need software to handle it. I offer a service of burning DVD's from cam corders, VHS tapes and so forth. You won't need a computer, since I format the DVD's to play in standard DVD players. I charge $20 per DVD, and I'll need to use the recorder you made the tapes on. If you're interested PM me or call me at 678-315-8794. Glenn

A good rain would be nice, then I can come back up and finish polishing your little frontage garden! Shape up the little bushes, and just go artsy-fartsy on everything! Hope you have a great weekend. I still haven't gotten around to see if JJ wants to go out one night this weekend.

Really! I remember back when I used to drive cars into the carwash and later into the garage. Some people would have their ashtrays overstuffed, and it did smell like poop!! -

As a full time smoker, it chaps my hyde to hear about such nastiness!! My 2003 Ford truck aint got no ashtrasy in it, but I had sense enough to buy a portable for the cup holder. It gets dumped in my trashcan at home. When I see where someone obviously dumped a loaded ashtray onto public property, I just wanna slap their momma! BTW- that also goes for FAST FOOD BAGS!!! Arrghhhh!!! Why caint people just be clean and thoughtful of other people's property? I think what pisses me off the most is that virtually EVERY convenient, grocery, pharmacy store has a waste can in several places. Just du -
Damn dude....that's enough to make me wanna quit!!! I guess it's true when girls tell me I smell like a turd, covered in burning hair! (Actually, I'm cutting down in hopes of stopping altogether. ) . .........yes, me...Subby. That all-time cigarette out the window flicking, defender of the faith!

For a while I am offering landscape services until mower repair business picks up. This service may run all season, not sure yet. Excellent quality work & free estimates. Bi-weekly maintenance offered after initial cleanup. Have all equipment to do the job right, and most of all, I AM VERY RELIABLE!!! Once the deal is set, you'll never have to fret over things getting done on time. Service includes yard cutting, edging, weed eating, and some shrub pruning (only for shrubbery no higher than 6 feet, please). Estimates include all work required except for disposal. On site disposal is includ

Several, actually. The problem with most is that they delete the restore points....so, good luck!! Certainly try it first though. If you do get a restore point and the virus still shows, then restore again and uncheck the backup on start button....risky, but "morph" viruses hedge around the restore points by booting up during the initial start-up. It leaves a "seed" if you will.

Sounds like an IP address problem. I can't remember exactly how to fix the problem (you need to get into the system root directory) but I was able to google the answer pretty quick, not long ago to fix the same problem with a computer I was repairing for someone. So you might want to try that. Just be CAREFUL when you are messing around in the registries, and follow directions to the exact letter!

For those who haven't heard yet, I have been converting cassettes and VHS tapes to DVD and CD's. Luckily, the business has done better than I had hoped! Most items have been musicians who are bringing me old tapes so they can be digitally preserved, as well as some elderly people who wanted their home videos burned to DVD format. The rates are: $15 per 90 min. cassette $20 per 120 min. cassette $20 per VHS to DVD Recordable media is included in this price, and all CD's and DVD's will have a jewel case. Other tape formats, such as mini-dv, high 8 and other applications can also be do
