    Probably, but why would you kill a good American truck? Japanese, sure, go head, make my day. By the way, I have two late 60s American cars in my garage. How may Hondas and Toyotas built in the 60s and early 70s are still around? Hmmmm.

    Check with the government of Japan to determine whether it is even possible for a foreign automobile company to build a plant and assemble cars in Japan. Go Blue is an expert in this area. 2011 Fiesta; 2012 Focus.

    While I understand what you are saying, how many American plants are manufacturing our cars in Japan? I don't care where Japanese cars are final assembled, the profits return to Japan. Not interested. I'll stick with Fords, regardless where they are final assembled.

    I think that if you are talking using a hands free interface such as Ford's SYNC, there should be no problem Those who lay the phone on the steering wheel and text, or talk with the phone in one hand should be addressed by this. Both my wife and I use SYNC in our cars - our hands never touch the phone. Everything is done through voice commands.

    You mean the great 0bama recovery? [sarcasm]I've never felt more confident about our economy. [/sarcasm] I was offered a generous package in March of 2010. I retired at the end of March and was back as a contractor May 1st - on my terms! Love it. We should all get together and bring our blankets and cookies.

    While I was never unemployed, I did "start my own business" (sort of) by closing two contracts with different business units of my former employer (I am retired - and loving it). I determine how hard and when I work which determines how much money I make. It's fantastic being in control.

    The employer owns the business. It's a "buyer's" (employer's) market right now so it is going to be tough and very competitive. The employers can pick the cream of the crop at bargain prices these days.
