  1. My problem with switching is that there is no significant savings. I get great reception and very reliable internet. Why switch?
  2. It's a private school. They can select or reject any applicant they want.
  3. You post re the five stages has a lot of credibility. Don't let the left get to you.
  4. I'd like to suggest that we use "do not trust" rather than "hate". To me, hate is an extremely negative emotion and is much overused today in place of "don't like". I do not trust Muslims.
  5. And this says it all. Muslims are not to be trusted.
  6. Yes, just retirement. I hope your husband is approved. I cannot imagine how much pain he is experiencing.
  7. Two or three weeks. I was pleasantly surprised and, as I said, I applied on line @ ssa.gov
  8. I applied online when I retired last March - very easy. I was approved and they told me my benefit. Then I updated my projected income and they told me I make too much and to come back in 2011. Geeze. I wish they would just give me every dollar I poured into the system. I'd promise to go away and leave them alone.
  9. Here is what my Dad did: Keep the car clean. I had to wash it weekly and wax it twice a year. Learn how to maintain a car. Pay for your own gas and insurance. Share the car with your brother and sister. If I say you can use the car and then I need it myself, you're out of luck. My son went by the same rules plus he took a driving class at Atlanta Motor Speedway. That class saved his life.
  10. Your file must be too large. If you link to is (Photobucket or something similar, that will work) or ping me, I'll give you my e-mail, you can send it to me and I'll scale it down so that you can upload it.
  11. Here's the 67 Cutlass I used to own:
  12. You have three times as much hair as I have ever had. Not fair!! I want my cut!
  13. Oh, stalk me!! At my age, it would be a true compliment.
  14. Johnny, now THAT is a real car. She's a beaut!!
  15. She's a beaut. I do not have a picture but mine was a 1961 Triumph Herald in two tone purple and white. Body style was this except hardtop model: That's it; it was supposed to have been a riding mower but Subby had no motor for it.
  16. Yeah, like what the heck did we miss??
  17. Yup, you name it and to most I can honestly reply, "Been there, done that!"
  18. Very cute. Here is a lady I was dating at the time:
  19. I've always had that look of innocence and have always leveraged it. Where is a picture of you??
  20. Not my style to modify a real car like that but it looks like you did a nice job of cleaning her up.
