But they are not "qualified" experts.
-
Your outrage is a little late, since they have been able to do this since 1984. And I am sure you realize if you are a law abiding citizen with nothing to hide the police are not just going to randomly install surveillance cameras on the outside of your property. You will still have to give then a reason to do it and they are not going to do it without some sort of probable cause. We do not officially reside in a police state, don't let your paranoia get the better of you.

I read the article. Global is mentioned 2 times and warming is mentioned once. Never are the two mentioned together. I don't see where you got your information that scientists are saying this is because of global warming since they never say that. It is caused by climate change which is a natural occurring phenomenon. Just ask the people from the last ice age. I guess that was caused by all the dinosaur farts.
-
In other words, the scientists who believe in global warming are "qualified" and the scientists who do not believe are not "qualified". And just what are the "qualifications" to be a global warming scientist? Oh wait I know what they are, they have to believe in global warming to be "qualified". The rest are just plain stupid.

Just wait, I see a lawsuit coming. They will clam the day care should have trimmed the trees around the play ground because of the risk of falling branches. The bigger question is was the tree on the day care property?
-
What percentage of scientists believe in global warming? I guess the 31,000 plus who don't believe in it are just stupid.

"Callahan based his reasoning on a 1984 Supreme Court case called Oliver v. United States, in which a majority of the justices said that "open fields" could be searched without warrants because they're not covered by the Fourth Amendment. What lawyers call "curtilage," on the other hand, meaning the land immediately surrounding a residence, still has greater privacy protections."

So in your mind no kids should be allowed to go outside and play period if there are trees around. Since a branch can break off at any time no matter what the weather is like. I saw a branch fall off a tree along Highway 92 near crossroads yesterday and almost hit the car in front of me. It was clear sky and no wind. Guess we should stay off the roads also.

My subdivision as about 50 houses in it. I saw 5 kids out trick or treating. Next year we are going to trick or treat in another subdivision where a friend lives.

True, but they are on site and can talk to the people who do work on the lines which is more then likely where they get their information. And once again, the information they report is for the area in which they are reporting. Did you personally tour the area that the reporter was reporting from? No... then you know not what you speak of and are just making general assumptions.

I thought it was manufactured by Romney to steal the election? To the OP, so the experts who say there is no global warming are wrong according to your experts?
-
Maybe because the power in the area that they happen to be in is going to get restored today? You understand they are not talking about the entire area affected by the storm right?
-
Apparently in some other neighborhood.

How do you know they don't live there? Are you taking a census at your door? What are kids suppose to do who do not live in a sub division? Don't be such a stick in the mud Alice.

Halloween is done on Oct 31. Period end of statement. It is not permissible to trick or treat on any other day unless it is some sort of event. Don't even think of coming to my house on any other day.

Sure, for a week or so. Then it is dark so what is the point.

I don't feel like it is saving me anything. But at least I now know why some of my older electronic devices changed time a few weeks ago.

Why don't police hang out where accidents happen a lot

So they should babysit intersections? What good is that going to do when you have a bunch of people speeding down the road breaking the law somewhere else? They you will complain because they are not out stopping the speeders. Are you willing to have your taxes raised so they can employ more deputies to babysit the intersections and also patrol the streets? I doubt it. Police can only be at one place at one time. having then sitting at an intersection for 8 hours a day is not good value for the money. -
Western hemisphere?? Talk about being vague. And if your friend is in the western hemisphere what hemisphere are you in?

I never said it was ok. I merely pointed out the fact that doping in professional bike racing is a given. Did Lance need to do it to win, probably not. with or without the doping he is still a tremendous athlete. You don't win by over 7 minutes just from doping. The USADA had an obvious vendetta against Lance which is why they went after him so many years after he retired. They could serve the sport a lot better by going after current athletes instead of wasting time with the past. Asked yourself why they did not award the titles to the runner ups? Because they know they were dop

They are not different then all the people who are scared of Romney and think he will force us all to become Mormons. Or the Republican conspiracy nut jobs. There are crazy people in all walks of life.

No? So the World Economy has been good for the past 4 years? Tell that to Greece.

I thought the world economy slowed for a long time now? If that was the case it should be 10 cents a gallon now.
