  1. They're sometimes an indication of pregnancy.
  2. The shooting was at the north end of Barrett Lakes Blvd - On the other side of Barrett Parkway, toward Kennesaw State Univ. I didn't know that there had been a shooting, because I was doing "Bridal Show Stuff". Since the post office instituted workplace dispute resolution through mediation, you rarely hear of anyone, "going postal", anymore, in reference to a post office. The private sector might consider this strategy as a way of heading off disgruntled employees turning to violence. Five shot and three two dead - in Kennesaw? Who would have thought it?
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkViDUDXwkg Enjoy!
  4. Sounds like a good idea for Valentine's Day!
  5. Thanks. We want to give back, but so far only Hiram High has responded. We're working through the counseling office there, but we know that other schools would want to take advantage of this offer.
  6. We wish to donate two tux rentals to each area school for students who would not otherwise be able to attend prom. We prefer to do this through the counseling office, because they would know, right away, the individuals who need assistance. These will be complete tux rentals. This offer is open to any area schools, not just Paulding County. If you are a high school counselor or KNOW a high school counselor who would be interested in receiving this donation, please make the call this week.
  7. Today would be a great day to begin making plans for prom! He knows WHEN it is and he knows THAT he's going. The roads out this way are fine, so why not encourage him (or them) to get the tux rental thing out of the way? Complete tux rentals are just $99.99 -- for Everything! There's no lower price, no better product. We're even extending our "keep the tux" special to high school seniors!! Rent a tux for $150 (that's what the competition charges for a full rental anyway) and at the end of the rental period -- you get to keep the tux!! That way, you'll have a tuxedo for future events!
  8. We talked about this just the other day - how ponds would freeze on the surface, but not sufficiently to support the weight of a child (or a large pet). No one should ever venture on pond ice in Georgia. The risk is too great for both the person who initially falls through and any would-be rescuers.
  9. Most of the problems out this way are shady, not-well-traveled roads and streets.
  10. Wut-oh! On the prowl or --- on the growl is not good! You know what'll run 'em off? I'll bet that the beauty shop still has some of Pubby's hair lying around. Never mind -- you'll need a little more than that!!! JK, pubster!
  11. There you go, CC. Let me know how you do... Oh, and if you need help designing a silencer for the .410.....
  12. CC - they're definitely racoon tracks. They almost look like little hand prints. Put an ear of corn in the trap - they'll find it. Check your PM box. FYI it's a "havahart" trap.
  13. The above color page for "Luxury Herringbone" is one of dozens of pages of different color/style choices!

  17. The wine business would seem to be ideal for those who are already connected with business and wedding professionals AND who need to work out of the home. Anyway, if you're interested, take a look. It might just be - your cup of tea wine. http://www.wineshopathome.com/annberry
  18. A word of caution for those who will be renting tuxedos this year - Beware of any company that: 1) Can't give a straight answer about cost. (Our tux rentals are $99.99 with everything.) 2) Requires you to join a club or sign up for marketing promotions to get a discount. (At King Tux, we don't forward your personal information to anybody else!) 3) Offers a "damage waiver". DW's only cover repairable damage, which should be part of the rental price! (At King Tux, there's no damage waiver charge!) 4) Charges for rental of studs and cufflinks. You'll be told by competitors that you d

  20. Every year that it gets cold like this, I write Glen Burns to remind him to remind everyone about the dangers of pond ice. He always writes back to tell me that he tells everybody every year about it. It's that time again!
