I agree, my kids are 20, 21, and 25. They all know that if they backtalk me even today I WILL take care of the situation. As a parent you do what ever it takes to get the point across. I am the same way with my grandchildren. The problem with kids today are the parents the tell jr "stop that right now" but do not back up there words with the actions that are needed. If this was one of my boys at this age I would have met the bus at the street and whooped his a$$ all the way in the house. I agree whole heartedly. I am in ^ this situation right now. My explorer and my sisters tahoe were hit while parked at our office last week. Totaled 2010 tahoe and extensive damage on my truck. She had 25,000. coverage. This doesn't even start to cover the tahoe, much less my truck. We are now having to go through our un/under insured motorist to get the vehicles paid for. It is a PAIN in the a$$. Just think of it this way if your teenager hits a newer vehicle can you afford to pay off what your insurance doesn't. The girl that hit us is 21 and she doesn't have anything. So we get what we get

Just heard on the weather channel that a 3 story building in Rome, ga has callapsed. They are reporting people possibly trapped in the building. Praying for the people affected by this.

You and me both my kids and grandbabies are in Arragon. I also have a son working the fuel center in Dallas and he is freaking out. He told his manager he was shutting it down and going home. They got upset with him but he told them no amount of money was worth his life. I am proud that he made this decision on his own. I hope so, she was very disoriented when they finally got her out. She didn't know where she was. I do pray that she is ok, but I am also very upset that she upset our lives so much. I have an older vehicle 1995, so even though it was a great truck I will not get much of anything out of it. It was paid for and I filled up the tank 25 minutes before she wiped it out. I am just frustrated right now and I don't want to take away from her being hurt but it has caused severe headaches for me and my sister.

I have a son that goes to the mud bog. He has a jeep that he set up expecially for this. I hope that they can get this passed because I would rather see these kids go play in the mud than be somewhere else doing things that they should not be doing (drugs, drinking). When he goes he has a great time and so do we, watching these big boys and boys that have never grown up play in the mud. Thanks LPPT for the information.

Yeah it pushed my sisters Tahoe back and around about 15-20 feet from where she parked it. She was not wearing a seatbelt and we think she may have been texting, but we are not sure on this. We know she wasn't wearing a seatbelt because my sister and I were the first ones to the truck.

Went to work this morning and my sister and I parked in our regular parking spots. About 40 minutes later it sounds like a bomb going off in our parking lot. A 21 year old come across our parking lot and creamed both our vehicles. My sisters Tahoe took the brunt of the hit but it also did major damage to my explorer. Then this afternoon we find out she has the minimun coverage of 25000.00. This doesn't even start to cover my sisters vehicle much less mine. It has just been one he// of a day. I would just like to say "Thank You" to all the Patriot Guard Rider, Cherokee Sheriff's office, Woodstock Police and Fire, Holly Springs Police, Canton Police and Fire. You all did an amazing job today. We were on one of the overpasses as they came by, then she went on into Canton and the Canton fire trucks had their ladders up and flags hanging over the road. It was an amazing sight, the honor that was given for this fallen HERO. Thank you to all who serve or have family that serves in the military for our freedom. This is Bullsheez, I wish I were not working on Fri. I would be there with flags flying high so that this family did not have to witness any stupidity from this group. If you are able to go please take large flags so that they can not hold up signs behind you for the family to see. This family gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country.
