Is it the one from the US Census Bureau? If so, yeah, best to fill it and send it back. If you don't, they will usually send someone over to finish it off.

It is reported that sprayers in New York State use cedar and no chemicals to kill mosquitoes.

One of the world's largest retailers has announced plans to create 250 jobs and invest $100 million over the next five years in a new regional headquarters and distribution center in Bartow County. On Monday, Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal said Lidl will bring its operations to Cartersville, “Lidl’s commitment to locate in Georgia speaks to our business-friendly climate and robust workforce,” said Deal. “Georgia is a gateway to the Southeastern market and beyond, providing innovative retail leaders such as Lidl the logistics infrastructure needed to support a growing customer base. It is strange - doubt they will be able to survive it with just private parties. Maybe someone else will try to partner or buy it from the owner(s).

I do not think I have ever driven by the lake. Only stopped by the two-story (I think) store at 278 couple of times. The article still did not explain why they have decided to close it to general population? Were there freak accidents there?

The hacker collective Anonymous has released a video repeating others' claims that NASA is on the verge of announcing contact with alien life. The video, released Tuesday on an unofficial YouTube channel claiming to be affiliated with Anonymous, repeats the text of three articles from the conspiracy website Ancient-Code.com. The video, which runs with advertising, has garnered over half a million views. Recent discoveries both in our solar system and beyond have in fact boosted the hopes of those who long for first contact with alien life. <<more on the article>>

I refuse to stay/sleep in buildings above 3rd or 4th floors.

One of my mates from Washington State who is a firefighter for the US Nat'l Park is in San Bernardino county (Cal, outside of Los Angeles) with his crew. It is so sad.

My maternal grandparents had catnip plants around their storage/shed buildings and some around the house. We enjoyed sitting/playing outside without being bothered by the mosquitoes. They had cats and kittens that lived outside, they were always happy with unlimited access to catnip. They had bunch of flowers that I was sure that helped to keep mosquitoes and other bugs away.

If you don't want to deal with your garden being sprayed with questionable chemicals, consider looking into mosquito-repellent plants like catnip. Bats are pretty effective, they will eat many at once.

Thanks, Blunt Trauma. I had not thought about stopping by produce shops around here. The only one I know is the Burger's Produce in Cartersville, it is too far away especially with the traffic over there. My mother and grandmother always checked and listened to the melons.

Haha I read about it yesterday. More power to them to have the guts to wear girl skirts in public. The boys said they were forced to stay in the isolation room (detention hall) for wearing skirts.. -

It is so hard to find good watermelons and cantaloupes out there. The watermelons usually tasted flat and cantaloupes usually tasted like crap (as in sh**). Anyone know where one could find really good ones? Thank you in advance.

I am unable to recommend doctors/specialists as I do not know of any locally. If your former student does not have a doctor, and still acted up, you can dial 911 to request assistance from the police/deputy to take him to the hospital for health evaluation.

'It is our sad duty to report that our son, Otto Warmbier, has completed his journey home. Surrounded by his loving family, Otto died today at 2:20 p.m,' it said. http://dailym.ai/2tGxIhn

I imagine Lidl here will be packed like I have seen in the United Kingdom. Lidl is opening a distribution warehouse in Bartow County (Cartersville), so I think we will see more stores popping up all over here.

Most of the canned goods sold in Aldi's seemed to be as good as others. That is all what I buy from those kind of stores. I am not a frequent shopper, I don't live close to one. I am happy enough to continue shopping in Publix, Kroger and Sprout's.

Yeah, they are very different between here and the UK. No reason to be concerned or anything like that. Lidl-America probably use the same food suppliers that Aldi-America, Save-A-Lot, etc., have been using for years. To see what the weekly ad looks like: http://bit.ly/2s0Nk0W
