  1. Might be worth to check out the Walmart and Home Depot stores in Rockmart and Cedartown. The stores there are rarely packed.
  2. These 5 companies make eclipse glasses certified as safe. Here’s where you can find them: https://usat.ly/2w16u9y
  3. I ate Cheese Whiz (in jars and sprays) when I was younger. I don't eat Cheese Whiz anymore. Gross!
  4. Sellers on Amazon (and probably other outlets) have jacked up price on eclipse glasses. Be wary of bogus eclipse glasses out there - try to find one made by companies like Rainbow Symphony anThousand Oaks Optical. Perhaps, Party City and Spencer's Gift should have them in stock?
  5. Atlanta police said the ban would not prevent them from responding to calls there. I cannot help but wonder if they have something illegal going on in there.
  6. Thanks MsGaStorm. I know where that is now.
  7. I have no clue where Rose's store is located. They can always put roundabout around the store(s).
  8. Memories, memories - here is a rotary in Western Massachusetts. Thanks goodness, the state in recent years have switched rotaries to roundabouts. Found a better photo - don't know how recent the first photo is:

Here is the thread you did weeks ago: http://bit.ly/2fignsU
  10. So Shearer's is making them -- http://bit.ly/2v6JinK This is so weird -- my very good friend's two sons work for the small company in Ohio (outside of Akron/Canton).
  11. I guess people are buying them to keep in their display shelf furniture (I cannot think what it is called right now) because they could be worth a lot of money? I dislike crisps, they are usually very salty and stale!
  12. 15 months? That is not enough, should be 10-30+ years.
  13. For special-need nurseries, I would suggest phoning the county health department at (770) 443-7881. EDIT- corrected the phone number. My apologies.
  14. I have watched the video-clip again, it still looked like the dogs were playing/friendly. I mean if a dog like a Pit Bull were to attack you, it would have first jumped on you.
  15. Verizon was having some issues in the Greater Atlanta/Northern Georgia/Chattanooga areas. I am not a Verizon customer. Hope they have it sorted by now.
  16. The Postman, thank you. It was very interesting to learn how flags have changed over the years.
  17. Ah, I thought that the first Confederate flag had 7 stars, not 8 stars?
  18. I watched the shaky video-clip. Poor dog! The police officer could have tried to command the dogs to stay before using pepper spray on them.
  19. Slavery comes in many forms. They exist and are everywhere including right here in Metro Atlanta. Anyway, it is interesting read.
  20. Be careful some of them are located in China. It takes up to 1-2 months for the items to reach the US from China. Thanks to the US Custom.
  21. I believe you have to be resident to use the convenience centres. When I lived in Bartow, they would ask where I lived and had to show them my mails with new address. I was driving with out-of-state licence plate.
  22. It would be nice to have convenience centres. We probably won't anytime soon as long relatives/mates of Carmichael, Davis, Pownall, Crowe, etc ran garbage companies in the county.
  23. Plenty of school districts from Washington state to South Carolina have decided to shut down for the day on the 21st. PCSD and other school districts should do the same!
  24. A Fairview minister captured a photo that is grabbing hearts across the country. http://bit.ly/2uXM1SE
