Well isn't that a sad bag of crapola. I didn't care for the show but sorta liked the fact that they were honest about the way they lived and it wasn't pretend glamor.

ok, so don't shoot me; BUT Dairy Queen $5 lunch makes a nice burger with fries or onion rings, a drink and a small sundae. Or; if you have an electric plate in your place; make a side dish; a salad and a rotisserie chicken from the super market

Where do you folks shop for beef? I like to buy a nice steak or two each month but I just get ill when I look at supermarket prices lately. And I would love to have family over for some grilled steaks. I just can't believe these prices. I don't know how people do it. Where are you finding bargains for quality meats?

Hmm; where is Mercier's? and where did you buy the apples? I looked at one grocery store today and just could not find a good deal. The good prices were for tiny apples which I would have to spend all my time peeling.

I gave a notice many years ago; I was 10 times smarter than my boss; very long dull story. But she told me to "just leave". HR quickly informed her that I was getting paid anyway! She was so dumb. Even HR hated I was leaving but knew they had to pay me. Heck - I loved the paid vacation!!

Thank you, I do find that their produce is very reasonable. I don't usually shop there but product prices are hard to beat. Thanks!

Oh no; that sucks!! And hurts! I was 58 when I broke my first bone; I fell off my wedged sandals and broke my ankle. Also broke my leg but they didn't notice that until months later. The worst of the pain will be gone soon!. Take care.

I wish and pray for the very best for Thad and Melissa. I think buying at this moment may be a challenge and I am not a pessimist. I am a realist. Maybe a nice rental just for a few months to "regroup", get more healthy, and rest for a bit without threat. I also live on a fixed income and it is tough; every single month. But these folks need some peace for a little bit. IMHO. Please take care of yourselves!

I use the crock pot in the summer also to avoid heating up the kitchen. I brown a beef roast on top of the stove and pull up all those browned bits and then add it all to the crock pot. Here is one of my favorites served with cheese and corn chips and sour cream. TACO SOUP Good enough for company Do NOT drain any of the canned goods 1 lb ground beef 1 pkg taco seasoning (I used mild) 1 onion, chopped 3/4 c water 1 can diced tomatoes, (canned; petite; flavored; whatever) 1 can kidney or red beans 1 can whole kernal corn( with liquid) 1 8 oz can tomato sauce Brown b

They closed at 2:30 . There was a miscommunication at church so I was in the church office telling people on the phone we closed at 4:30. Boy, did I feel terrible with moms calling me needing food. But there were so many blessed by that food distribution; thank you Helping Hands!!
