I loved him as a little girl. He was "Bret Maverick" and had a brother, Bart. The Sunday evening series took turns between them starring each week. I don't think I ever missed a "Bret" night. RIP

My retiree checks get auto deposited but every once in awhile I have a check to deposit. Went to the drive-thru and used the nicely provided envelopes for my check deposit. Screen changed since I last used it - but I did it I thought!! It spit out my nice envelope. So I go inside and they smile looking at the "nice" envelope and tell me; "Oh no, don't use envelopes anymore. Just stick the check straight in". Aha, I think; so much for the provided deposit envelopes. I go thru the drive-thru again. After it ate my check, it asked too many questions and I got one wrong - so it spit ou

I try not to cook or bake right now; using grill and crockpot to reduce humidity in the house. These salad recipes are terrific. Right now trying to find a salad using lentils (which I will cook in the morning hours).

Everyone is glad to see you posting again! And three were lots of prayers rising out of Paulding County. My brother was in an induced coma for about 6 weeks. At one point when I talked to him on the phone, he would talk to me in real words intersperced (s) with complete jibberish. Told me he was in the desert eating rtyufghjjhy. And then he just laughed and laughed. LOL

I am so very sorry for that loss. Prayers for you and family but my Louie and Major will be there to meet her as she crosses the rainbow bridge; after all, they are Paulding pals. Someone told me once that your loving pet will promise to love you unconditionally and only break your heart once. Take care

I could just barely see them above the trees , I love when people celebrate with fireworks. I'm an old lady but enjoy th heck out of it. My dogs are feeling the love, though!
