I think there are a lot of people out there who will think the government is actually requesting their help in finding their 'neighbor' especially since they included legal documentation.

Anyone get a very deceptive looking campaign letter in the last few days apparently from a Carruth opponent? Basically it is worded like a collection agency is contacting you. It has phrases such as: "Notice of debt collection and legal notice - open immediately" "Urgent action required on debt collection" "This an an attempt to collect debt from Bill Carruth" Be aware a Writ of Execution has been issued by the Federal Court against one of your neighbors in an attempt to satisfy a defaulted loan The US Marshals Office is looking for him so they can seize his personal

No kidding. "I don't care if he is on Cedarcrest; let him drive back to the office and take his own car to lunch like 'everyone else'. He can pick up his county vehicle and go back up there when he is done. That will teach em!"

This is nothing out of the ordinary. I have worked 3 jobs in the past which provided a company car and each was yours to use for the day while you were on the clock. Not one wanted you to drive back to the office and swap to your personal car to take your lunch break, it costs the business money because this would be done on the clock.

Because law enforcement is not a 8-5 job. Many officers are on call 24/7 due to their various specialties because the vast majority of departments are not big enough to have full time access to all the specialized skills needed in a LE agency.

I bet the @$&! storm started in the last few days didn't help whatever the condition was.

Maybe because the residents of the city of Dallas pay county taxes also? Maybe because the residents of the city of Dallas pay an additional city tax? Maybe because the city of Dallas was awarded Federal stimulus money to fund such projects?

The sidewalk in question gave the citizens of Dallas access to their community library and park. It may not be important or seem wasteful to those who live outside of the city but I would expect that because they are not the ones using it.

Servers do not get minimum wage since they work for tips.

The family decides which funeral home is used. I dealt with the death of a family member at home that the Coroners Office worked. We were asked who we wanted to use which ended up not being Clarks, there were no suggestions or pressuring of any kind.

Many people are just looking for a situation they can critique because there just has to be 'more to the story' because they cannot comprehend that level of generosity.

Correct....and how many people in a subdivision have a big no trespassing sign in the front yard? Virtually none. A 'no solicitation' sign in GA carries no legal weight in the criminal law aspect unless a local ordinance addresses it. Do you know how many legit solicitors would refuse to leave when asked....virtually none. They are well aware of property laws and most carry a pamphlet with them they try to present when contacted by LE that lists binding case law with past judicial rulings saying door to door soliciting is not illegal.

Still not illegal. The HOA could maybe sue them civilly I guess but if it is a public street people have the right to be there.

Its not illegal so calling the cops won't do anything. Door to door sales have been around as long as there have been neighborhoods.

Businesses do not pay taxes.....the consumer of the product or service does.

She may have learned it....time to reinforce it.

Leave her in there....this has nothing to do with the animal....it is about the emotional abuse she inflicted on her child.
