Interesting thought. Who is saying all planes will be registered in Paulding County? For example, my truck is registered in North Carolina where I pay annual property taxes and tag fees. I drive to Paulding County and all I am responsible for is the sales tax I pay on gas for my truck. Wilmington Int'l Airport is pretty quick and efficient for something that was approved years ago. Thankful the City of Wilmington NOR the County Commissioners sit on the board of the Airport Authority. Recently, due to an Airline merger they are pulling out flights to major cities.

I really wish the community would get some answers, other than having to take legal action. I honestly believe from the get go after it was a known about the airport deal, majority would be very opened to be educated about the deal. That has been a major disappointment for honesty you expect from the BOC. I live in Wilmington, NC, just miles from Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Rather inexpensive great rentals as we are not commercial like Pamana City or Destin. It's about a seven hour trip from Paulding. Additionally, you get the value if you choose to visit many historic venues here. Seriously, I love living here

My understanding is any commercial construction currently active should've been halted once the settlement agreement came between the group of citizens and the FAA. Any further activity could effect the findings the FAA needs for environmental impact to the area. I strongly believe Blake, and company knew this but just thought oh well, this is our backyard, and it was free.
