I've been kind of half listening the scanner off and on all day. There was something where they were looking for some guy in a white T-shirt and sneakers with bright orange soles. i think it was a traffic stop (there were other people in the car) and, for whatever reason, he ran off into the woods. They knew who he was because they said he was from Alpharetta and probably didn't have any idea where he was or where to go. They did apprehend him and took his butt to jail!!!

A friend of mine just called to see if I had been listening to the scanner and knew what had happened. I'm going to listen to the archieves and find out.

i just got on to see if there were any updates. I'd really like to know that this young man is ok.

I don't know why they were executing a "no-knock" warrant at this lady's residence. I don't think it was ever clarified on the news but, it if was because of suspected drugs, that does not surprise me. What does surprise me is the number of people who think that, just because a person is in their 50s or 60s, they would never break the law. I keep up with the Cobb County police website where they list everybody who is arrested. It is amazing that so many of the people are in that age bracket or even older. They took all transmission to private for a while but have not started transmitting again. Lots of law enforcement on scene. Nothing being said about condition of patient.

Caller advised her son was shot in either the head or face. Trying to determine if this was self-inflected. There is another male in the house with the weapon. Victim is in the yard. Suspect is in house with gun. Complainant is outside in a vehicle in front of residence. Victim is conscious with gunshot wound to mouth.

She sure sounded drunk to me!! What else could it have been unless she was over-medicated. I can't believe she was allowed on the air in that condition.

My daughter started a tradition on my granddaughter's first Halloween. She found this really nice neighborhood off Terrell Mill Road in Marietta where we go every year. Almost all the houses participate (they decorate their yards, dress in costume, etc.) They know that people come from all over to T/T in their neighborhood. and they don't mind. The neighborhood is small and is just a big circle. It takes about an hour to go around, and that's plenty for the little ones. We don't go anywhere else. Like many people have previously posted, NO ONE knows what really happened. None of us were there. The news reports aren't going to tell everything because that could interfere with the investigation. The media is only allowed to say certain things. AMEN!!! I knew Blake. His family lives in my subdivision. That was one of the saddest days of my life when I heard what had happened. I listened to this on the scanner archieves. It is not my place to judge the people who live in the house, but someone fired shots at the police before they fired back. It is evident by the tone of the officer's voice that it was a dangerous situation. We will probably never know why the police went to the house or what really happened, but my prayers are with everyone involved in this tragic incident.

OMG!! That is horrible that she would leave the scene of the accident like that. The guy who was taken into custody should be able to tell the police where to find her. I just can't get over the fact that she backed off the victims (which is probably a good thing) and then left. People are crazy!!
