When did the East-Hiram Pkwy open???? Is it open, all the way up to Hwy 278? We were passing thru there Tuesday and the traffic light at Bill Carruth & Hwy 92 was NOT in operation. We were coming from Hiram back to New Ga, via Hwy 92 & Ridge Rd. Also, Nebo Rd has a speed limit of 50 mph in certain areas and it is too curvey & hilley, for a 50 mph speed limit!!! Ridge Rd is fairly flat and a lot straighter than Nebo and it's only 45 mph, can someone explain that???

May I ask what Publix store do you shop? In New Ga and Mirror Lake (Villa Rica in Douglas Co) the Senior Day is Wednesdays. Some of the cashiers will automatically give older people the discount. They don't want to embarrass (sp?) theirselves, by asking to see anyones id.

Thanks EVRYONE!!! That eases my mind! IF, I woud have read the "to" part of the email I would have known, for sure, it was spam. They had a bunch of email addresses (16 actually) and it was like ABC123, ABC234, ABC345 and so on. Duhhhh, I need to be more careful with this crazy super sensitive mouse.

I got this email that said thank you for your Amazon purchase on so & so date and as I was moving my mouse to exit out of the email, I accidently rolled my (super sensitive) mouse over the "show images & enable links", link and it clicked on "that" link. What do I need to do, if anything........................ I did NOT click on the download link, that's at the bottom left of the page. will these spammers be able to get into any of my accounts or what. I'm a little worried about this!!

Sending a pm...................... it will take me a few min to type All of the food banks/food pantries, that I have ever heard of, gave you food on the very first visit. However, ALL missing info would need to be brought in on the next visit. I am NOT familiar with all of the locations & requirements of the other food banks/food pantries but, that's pretty much a common thing.

I had my ex in court for non payment of child support and David McDades, Assitsant DA, Brenda Day Heath at the time, told me, "I don't give a darn (NOT her word) WHO gets the $100 as long as he pays $100 a week. He (my ex) owed the state xxx amount of dollars and they took their money straight out of his pay check "WHEN" he had a regular job, who took out taxes. Most of the time he work where they ONLY paid in cash, ALSO, Judge Barbara Caldwell, (still in Douglas Co Courts) told "I'll NOT se youin my courtroom again", she basically barred me from coming bck into her office and taking out a war

No one has posted on here about that lady in quite some time!! I'm pretty sure that wasn't her!! But, anyone who walks up and asks for money like that, probably just wants cash for alcohol or drugs!!!

I know about the buses down at the Movies 278 & on Florence Rd, I mean regular buses with all of the bus stops and all that mess. Marta is NOT just "rail transit"!!!!

Soooo, there was a man from the Ford Motor Co, here in Paulding Co, at the Chamber Luncheon??? Is this normal for someone from Ford to visit the Chamber Luncheon? Is this man a buddy with someone here in Paulding? Why would anyone from the Ford Motor Co be coming to a Paulding Co Chamber Luncheon??? I'm just curous. Inquiring minds want to know.........

Has anyone seen "The Great Christmas Light Fight?" They have a contest of who has the best lights display. There are many factors but, there was 2- 1 hr shows of it on tonight on Ch 2 and 2 more 1 hour shows on next Monday, as well. From 9-10pm and 10-11pm. Tonight there was one Family from Stockbridge, GA and they won the first hour, the prize was $50,000. The second hour had a landscaper and he had the best lights/music display, of course this is just my opinion!!! The 4th family had over 1,000,000 ligths but, the lights didn't dance to the music, as well as the landscaper family's display.

We have been shopping at Marks & Morgan at the Douglasville Mall since 2002. We just love the Manager, (I think she's a Manager) Kate. If yo are in that area, check them out. I'd bypass the little kiosks in the mall!!! There is a store that had signs up "EVERYTHING MUST GO, 70% OFF", it's by the Macy's entrance on the bottom floor, if I'm not mistaken.

This makes me want to get out the dvd (if I do have one), to watch the movie. Just may find it and watch it this weekend, while is raining and/or storming. There was something going on last night over there , I thought it may have been some kind of traffic jam, due to the lights there. We got a Nixle stating that there was some kind of traffic incident at Oliver Dr. maybe not, huh??? Oh well, someone will let us know, hopefully.
