A few yrs ago one of the local news stations did a special investigation on city workers. They found a lot of illdgal activities....... and sleeping on the job, drinking on the job, smoking pot on the job. Even people visiting family and or friends while on the "clock"!!!

I like using the Turkey Roaster, it sits on the countertop and the turkey stays so moist. Of course you have to baste it and put seasonings in it, I only use garlic salt, maybe a little bit of Cajun seasonings and definately put the Cajun stuff on the rolls, even the little ones like that!!! Maybe put a can of chicken broth in the roasting pan, so it will create more juice, to use for the gravy and dressing!! This is making me hungry!!!!

Mrs G replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You should try John's Biscuit & Pizza, next time you are in that area. It's just around the corner from that battery place. I love their Italian Sandwich, their AWESOME!!! -
This is my oldest Daughters, ex-sister-n-law. I'm NOT sure how many children she actually had but, actually it's my daughters husbands, brothers, ex. I'm not sure if they were ever married, but they did have 1 child together, a daughter. Is this making sense??

We went earlier this year and it was NOT good. Hubby ate his food but, it really wasn't good, either. I asked for the server to take the cost of my chicken dinner OFF the ticket. It was over cooked and it had been sitting under the heat lamps for about an hour, per the server. The revamped "catfish Den" called LaVals was a total flop as well, I think. all the lights are lit up but, I see NO cars, zero, nada, zilch!!!

No freezer space, is our problem. We need to be eating meats out of the freezer "before" we (I) buy more meats. We have a few, and yes, I mean a few pork shoulders/Boston Butts and I just need to clean out the freezer. Since we have been going to Patak Mets(a couple of months) we kind of just eat the meats we buy from there. OMG, their meats are Awesome!!!! The smoked turkey breast I get it sliced for sandwiches, the marinated pork steaks and the 1" thick cut smoked pork chops is to die for!

Nixle said in the area of Baldwin and Marshall Fuller. We know some elderly people down there. I pray that they are not involved!!!

I had my 3rd and final nerve block, in my low back last friday. I had to be sedated (somewhat) and where they put the iv, left a bruise. But, earlier today it was fine just a reddish bruise and about 30 mins ago as I was washing dishes, my hand started hurting. I noticed it looks like it's bleeding under the skin and It's even swelling. Yes, I have very dry skin, being a germaphobic and a wash a hand a holic, the skin on my hands is very dry. tia I don't recall seeing the dark blue earlier. It has me baffled. I do take blood thinners.

Publix brand. I have used their brand turkeys since they have been open at this location. It's easier for me to just buy our turkey there, the Saturday before turkey day since I don't have enough of freezer space. They are just as good as any other brand!!! They key to a good turkey is how you cook and baste it!!! I use a Turkey Roaster, that sits on top of the counter. This frees up my oven for the different pies (egg custard and sweet potato), cakes (carrot and a cream cheese danish), dinner rolls, mac-n-cheese, sweet potato souffle, dressing and so on. Dang that's a LOT of food, huh??

I had stopped in there a few times, I had a bad experience at Roses and I refuse to shop at there, since!!!

470 is already being used in the NW Georgia area, for at least two yrs, maybe. At first I heard it was going to be something like 672 or 762, not positive but, thats what they said first.

You may waant to ask the Rite Aid people IF you can use the two $25 transferred prescription coupons, since they "technically" were transferred, The two coupons were in this weeks sales ad, If I'm not mistaken. I don't shop at Rite Aid so I threw the paper away. They don't, or they didn't the last time I did get a scrip filled there (3 yrs ago) do the $4 scripts. (That just don't sound right) If they do price match, YOU WILL HAVE TO specifically ask them to price match!! Oh, I went to 'That" store Saturday night, it was a HOT MESS!!! Stuff all in the floors, no prices on most of the items.

I saw this as well, on FB I do believe. We'll have to try it real soon. I even have some beef tips in the freezer. We're not big beef eaters but, I wanted some beef stew and was just waiting until it turned COLD!!
