  1. It is and I have a B-A-D habit of looking at everyones tires!! When I park my car somewhere and get out, I'll casually look down at the tires on the vehicle beside my car. If the person is getting in or out of their car, I'll tell them. I'm NOT to shy to NOT tell them. You never know, it cold save their life or someone elses. Being kind and concerned doesn't hurt!!!
  2. Ryan's is NASTY!!!!! I went to the Hiram location many, many yrs ago and haven't been back!! I don't even like going to Golden Corral, anymore. We will go every now-and-then and about once every three or four months, I'll go get me a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar Soup to go!!
  3. My Brother died that way. He was in an auto accident in 1990, his truck had, NOT so good tires on it, he was traveling downhill (somewhat) and it was on a curvey road. His trucks back right or left tire blew out, it flipped the truck, he flew out the driver window (wasn't wearing his seatbelt. He flew up in the air about 30', landed on the side of his face, and it just crushed his brain. The impact killed him but, he was revived and he only lived about 36 hrs, three brain activity tests and we decided to take him off of the Life Support Machines. He was a 22 yo father. We donated his orrgans.
  4. Isn't that in the close proximity of that fatal accident a week or two ago?? Or is it further down the road just a bit?
  5. YES, a person can have a heart attack and be clinically dead and be givien cpr and be "brought back to life" and could have another 10, 15 or 20 yrs, who knows, I would NOT ever sign a DNR!!! When I make out a living will, it will detail all of the do's and don'ts. I do not want to be hanging on with little to no hope but, if it's just a heart attack, that don't always mean you are a goner!!! There was a lady at my Aunts Church in Villa Rica about 2 months ago, had her tonsils taken out and a few days later she was dead. She was a Wife & Mother to 2 young girls. This is so tragic and I
  6. I do too, but I can't cook good fried chicken, I'll have to stick to Church's!! Love me soe Church's Chicken with Jalepeno peppers!!!!
  7. I have had hot flashes for years but,"not" serious ones. I used the patches and they subsided. Now-a-days they are much more severe. The patches work real well!!! But, if I forget to re-apply one for about a week, boy do I begin to feel them coming back. My aches and pains have gotten out of hand, really!! I have Degenerative Disc Disease, Spinal Stenosis, Arthritis and just plain getting old. This sciatic nerve issue is never ending and it goes from the right side to the left side and back and forth. Sometimes both at the same time. Ever since the first nerve block I've been having thee
  8. Sorry for the hijack!!! Welcome to Paulding.com! Tell your wife there is a Photography Club in Dallas, if she would be interested in checking it out. I'm sending you a personal message.
  9. I have been noticing that my skin is changing and loosing elasticity. What other changes should I be looking forward to? Or , not be looking forward to?
  10. Thank You for trying to return it to the rightful owner. If you do take it to the Police Dept and NO ONE claims it in 6 months, then it's yours!! If things haven't changed in the last year or so, that is. Another feel good, warm and fuzzy story!! Wooo Hooo Another good and honest citizen, THANK YOU!
  11. What is the object in the lower left side of the picture? What kind of camera and lens did you use? Just curious......tia Thanks for posting, the pic is awesome!!!!

  13. www.zabasearch.com will give you a home # if the person has/had a home ph for a while.
  14. Sometimes, I just don't get it!! WHY put out all of thee barrels or pilons or whatever you want to call them, if there isn't ANY work going on?? If the roads are NOT being worked on , they need to remove them!! I can understand if they will be back the next day, or when the new week starts but, leaving them for months and NO WORK.............THIS IS NONSENSE!!!!! I'm NOT talking about the East Hiram Pkwy, which hasn't opened up just yet. Those barrells need to stay there until completion. ON one of our travels, I believe it was when we were coming back from Branson City, Missouri. We went
  15. Yes, from what I hear people tell me at Helping Hands, they say it's a long wait at the Marietta Office. Glad they have made it a little easier on the clients/customers!!
  16. Thanks, I'll see if I can find one!! Although Roscoe P Coaltrain, now has about 20+ toys ALREADY. He would probably love to have one of those hampsters in a ball.
  17. Was it GreyStone EMCU? We have them and are curious about their Program and exactly how it works. tia
  18. The Soc Sec office in Carrollton, you cculd go in there and just about be done with your business within 30 to 40 min. It might be a little bit further than Marietta but, in and out in 30 to 40 min is great and once you get on Hwy 61 in Villa Rica, it's only 1 turn and 10 to 15 min, tops.
  19. Where did you find the hampster in a ball?? Roscoe would love one.
  20. The Carrollton Social Security office will close the first week of February and be moved to Villa Rica. The office at 195 Postal Way is relocating because the lease has expired at the Carrollton site, according to Dez Thornton, regional spokesman for the Social Security agency. My link The new location is at the intersectioin of So. Carroll Rd and Carrollton-Villa Rica Hwy (aka Hwy 61), it's entrance/exit is on So. Carroll and there is a back entrance/exit on Tolbert Rd.
  21. I was talking about Nebo Rd, which is a county rd, I do believe. I could e wrong, though!!
  22. Once you get tot know the employees, you can't help but love them!! There's lady (Michelle) that cooks the Aprons Recipes, on certain days between 4 & 7, she's a pretty good cook, too.
  23. They gave you the discount because the store would be closed on Wednesday, which is their day for senior citizen discount because, 1- the store being closed is NOT the customers fault they are closed, 2- they give the discount to anyone who looks a certain age, they don't want to offend anyone by asking your age. 3- They are a great bunch of folks to shop/deal with!!!!! We Love them!!!!
  24. That's where we shop, we live just across the street from Publix, basically. They do their Senior Citizen Discount on Wednesdays. I was their very first customer to enter the store on the Opening day and I was the first one to go thru the register. They gave out a nice gift bag of Publix brand items. The employees are awesome. Some, you do have to watch, though!! I shop there more than I do at Kroger.
  25. I was coming back from Sam's in Douglasville one day and saw a young man holding up a cardboard sign that said broke and ugly. I usually don't carry very much cash, therefore I had NO cash to give him but, I guess he figured he'd try something different. Bless his Heart!!!
