We got there a little before 6 but, just in time!! Just after we were seated, it was like, someone opened the flood gates. The building was full in just a few minutes. We saw Dianne and Wayne from Atlanta's 1st Choice Carpet Cleaning, Southern Scarlet, Wine Guy, LPPT and a few more Pcommers that I can't rememeber their names. The food was good, the service was even better and the coconut cake topped off a good evening. We didn't get the chance to see Lori, today but, we have met her before. It was nice to see the community come together and help one of our own. You just never know when i

have you tried this.....testmyspeed.com/ ?? This will tell you ay have IF you're internet signal is a good signal or a bad signal. It may be of some help....... if not now, maybe in the future. Good Luck, I know I hate calling AT & T. It's such a hassle. You may have to use Mozilla FF or IE, for this to work.

I usually by Tyson and sometimes I will buy Kroger brand but, I do NOT buy Perdu(sp?), I don't like the "yellow" color, nor the taste!!!!

headaches, nausea, a couple times vomiting. Now, I just stay out of the sun!!!!!! When this was happeneing to me, I was cleaning apartments and most of the time, it was in Marietta, Smyrna, Duluth, Dahlonega, and even Buckhead. The long drive home to Douglasville, in the summer heat and no a/c in my car was real bad. I'd keep a headache for 3-6 wks at a time. Those days are in the "past," Thank the Lord, !!!!!!!!!!!

you know those really good iced sugar cookies
Mrs G replied to angiecochran's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is my recipe: 6 large eggs 4 cups of milk 3 tbs s/r flour 1 c sugare 1 tbs pure vanilla extract Mix the flour and sugar together into a bowl, mix well. Whip the milk and eggs in a double boiler, cook on low to med heat. Stirring constantly (a must) with a whisk. Slowly mix in the flour and sugar mixture. Continue to whisk vigorously, do not let the mixture scorch on the bottom. Once the mixture to gets to a medium thickness, turn the heat OFF, add vanilla extract, stir well, remove from the hot burner. The mixture will still thicken, as it cools off. This is the recipe -

Whitey, I'd like to buy some tomatoes and cucumbers from you. When it's time, of course. I like to eat the tomato, cucumber and onion salad in vinegar, I think. Does anyone else eat this?? How do you fix it???? I've heard of people using apple cider vinegar in this. Whath do you think??

I used to shop for 2 elderly men (brothers), I did this for 16 yrs. I only charged them $10, most of the time. No matter how much $$ they spent. However, IF I went to somewhere off the main road, like across town or somewhere special, I may add on another $3-$5. I did this regardless of the rain, sleet, snow or heat, sick or not!!!! I really didn't do this to "make money" per se. Just to help two old men, who had no one to depend on.

They do NOT price match/ Walmart & Food Lion, do. Walmart doesn't double coupon either. But, Food Lion does, up to $.60.

I know, when our rental house was empty, we had nothing plugged up but the electric stove & water heater and the bill was still about $25 to $35 per month. My guess would be a faulty meter, also. The stove was a 2000(yr) model and the water heater was new. just saying

We saw Ringgold when we delivered two loads of stuff and Ringgold is "nothing" compared to Joplin. When we pulled into the Cattle Farm, that was the drop off site for donations, I just broke down in tears. I'll try to get some of the pictures uploaded.

Oh, how I miss the Saturday Night Kicks Country Gold. This was my favorite, I looked forward to Saturday Nights!!!! I liked anything from Aretha, Al Green, Cream, Sylvia, The Carpenters, Tony Orlando & Dawn to Janice Joplin, even some Jimmy Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Johnny & Edgar Winter. As long as it's "OLD", I'm good!! Now, just give me the Old Country Gospel and my little heart will be content. You get the hint.

FOR REAL!!!! I "am" going to be comfortable, I do take into consideration that hubby may or may not be cold or warm at the same time as me. Hot flashes are NO FUN and I'm on blood thinners, so my temperature will vary. I will put clothes on or will take clothes off, if need be! We wash 3 loads of clothes per week, 1 white, 1 dark and 1 towels/sheets. I try to conserve, as much as possible and my power bill is still over $100!!! However, our house is heated with a heat pump and the heat is NOT as warm as gas heat. The AC bills during the Summer has only went over $250 one time and that was la

Total electric? What kind of water heater, gas or electric? Use the dish washer? We may wash 2 loads of clothes, per week, we do NOT use the dish washer, we use the air accordingly, I try to use the tower fan, more often than the air. But, sometimes, I just have to turn on the air. Our bill was $116.44 for last month. This, just has me baffled! Doesn't seem possible, seriously! More power HER!!!!! You better take her out to eat a couple of times a month, for keeping the power bill that low :good.
