There are not any right words. It's difficult to loose a parent, and difficult to see the one remaining one grieve. I'll be praying for you and your family. I'm glad you have the comfort of KNOWING where your Dad is now. I pray that God holds you all close and keeps your mom in his loving arms and gives that comfort that surpasses all understanding, that only he can provide.

Had a townhouse I had an awful time getting rid of and considered renting... but I did NOT want to go there, and thank you Jesus I didn't have to. Good renters are out there, but they are way out numbered by the bad ones.

Okay, I cut our land line thinking lots of people are doing it and we are trying to cut bills.... the 2nd month our cell bill was SOOOOOO high!!!!! plus, I couldn't stand ALWAYS having to have my cell phone on or near me. It was much more economical to put a land line back in instead of uping our minutes on our cells.

Sadie, glad to hear that your mom's surgery went well and that she is on her way to recovery. I've heard wonderful things about Birmingham Hospital. I'll be praying for a full and complete recovery!

Okay, my husband and I are having a debate over whether or not the dogs "ate" the people!!! I say no, that they didn't "eat" them, they would have caught a wild animal to eat. He says that yes they were hungry and they ate enough to fill them up. Let's hear your opinions....

I NEED to do something to get some exercise. I could walk starting next week, Monday, Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings.

So, just for future reference... did they get it out???? My son stuck one of the little stick on gems (earrings) IN his ear at a neighbor's house. In that instance, I called the Scottish Rite Urgent care and they told me that they couldn't remove it and the ER probably couldn't either. It stayed there a couple days until his ENT could see him and easily removed it in his office. I was told that they sometimes even have to put kids to sleep to remove such things if they don't sit still to have it removed. Glad everything is okay.

Thanks peach... sad to say that it was my son's friend, but the not knowing for sure was driving him crazy. Please keep this family in your prayers!!!!! It was a new house in which he did a lot of the work himself from what I understand from my son.

that's exactly where he lives is in that area. My son is listening to the scanner now, he's pretty sure it's his friends house but would love confirmation. Jane Doe... it's definitely a house fire, we've confirmed that much. anyone know what happend to scan paulding??? I can't get to it.
