  1. Unfortunately, the hospital can keep anyone away for the time. If the police told him to leave then it appears to me that a restraining order has been issued. Alot of times, this is common in separated cases or divorce filings. He will have to go to his lawyer tomorrow to get it all figured out. Fortunately, fathers rights are being recognized more and more so tell him to hold his head up and always do what is right for his child.
  2. Well, I see you finally found a way to use the word "labia".
  3. Don't forget that it is our tax money paying for all of this. Yep, stupid lawsuits that end up costing us (producers in society) money. Lets do like Britain and make the looser of these lawsuits pay the court costs. I think it will make these type of people think twice before trying to get rich quick. (You know, like the hot coffee from McD's)
  4. You guys fight your own battles in another thread about whether or not drunk driving wrecks are accidents. Lets get back on MY topic. To restate the original intent of this thread...................Why does it seem like human life is secondary to an animal? Say what you will, it is only an animal. No human life should ever be placed behind an animal. When someone can kill another human being, how can punishment ever be justified if the sentence is inferior to the punishment of animal cruelty or death? Our society and laws are getting more backwards when it comes to animals and humans.
  5. Isn't it a shame that you have to go to these lengths to explain a simple question. <shaking head and walking away>
  6. I think this may deal more in symantics but I don't think it is an accident. It was a poor choice or stupid decision to put kids in a more harmful situation. Trying to reduce the risk of harm in a given situation is always the best choice but purposely not taking advantage of life saving devices borders on psychosis.
  7. To me, driving drunk and hitting someone is NEVER an accident. Planned events that greatly increased the odds of having a wreck. Driving 100 mph through a crowded school zone is asking for trouble too. Killing or hitting a kid in this situation wouldn't be an "accident" to me either.
  8. I understand the circumstances of Stallworths case but I am also talking about the public outcry in opinions too. Seems to me, more folks would rather put up a fight for an animal or a tree being cut down than an innocent human life. Just doesn't makes sense.
  9. Help me understand people. Remember when Michael Vick's charges were first coming out? Everybody was calling him names and trashing him for killing a few dogs. He was practically ran out of town by all the viscous words spouted by a lot of people. Vick was sentenced to 23 months in a Fed Pen and then probation. Maybe it was rightfully so, but here is my outrage. Dante Stallworth, receiver for the Cleveland Browns, was convicted of vehicular manslaughter while drunk. Yes, he ran over someone and killed them while he was driving drunk...............................................
  10. Dude.....................do you always try typing with your tongue? I don't think I have ever read a post that makes any sense. I've got an extra keyboard with big letters if you need something else. Please let us know.
  11. Good to hear from you again JMT. Missed seeing you around. Only one request.....................Can you teach my little on to make "a certain person" disappear? I WILL pay extra. Stop by and see us sometime if you "have the time".
  12. I was kind of hoping he would get the hummer brand. Would love to see one of those in the Indy 500.
  13. Good lord people. You all are talking to pubby right now as if he is awake. Don't you all realize what time it is? The gov't alarm clock doesn't begin to buzz until the noon hour. Give him a couple more hours and maybe you will get a response. I'm sure it will involve a comment that contains racism and how GREAT Germany was prior to WWII.
  14. That's alot of laughing. Great analogy their pub"I have too much smoke in my eyes"by. Your racist dreamland ended up where it should have. Defeated. America can only hope this administration will follow a similiar path so we can return to freedom. Enjoy your little Germany for the time being for one day soon, the monumental EAGLE will soar soon enough.
  15. Careful that you don't affend WT, Dallas Red, Cuteyellowbug, Pubby, surepip, and a few others.
  16. Check out this snippet from what Ms Howard posted. "Do I think it's been a good thing? Yeah, absolutely," Brian Fredline, President of UAW Local 602, told FOXNews.com. "Now I'm not sure if Wall Street would agree. But I think it's saved the income security of a lot of workers." UAW and GM officials are also quick to point out that the program has already been scaled back significantly in the last year. Before then, workers could stay in jobs banks indefinitely -- some were there for more than 15 years -- but now there is a two-year limit. In addition, jobs bank employees at GM may tu
  17. MCMM, you are a smart man and you knew this was coming. EVERYONE new this was coming. GM and a host of other players are to blame. Sorry this hits so close to home and sorry about alot of your family getting hit hard with this one but the plain fact is, OUR gov't poured and is pouring money down a rat hole and WE will never see our tax dollars again. They should have filed months ago before the 50 bil went right out the back door. I guess union bosses and upper management needed bonuses for a job not well done.
  18. GM has or will get 50 Billion in tax payers dollars. We will never see that money again. What else do you suggest happen? Bankruptcy should have occurred way before any money was given to them. All the smart people knew this was inevitable.
  19. The caves I referred to in parenthesis are in Sweetwater TN. The Lost Sea is a very popular destination for cave dwellers. Open to the public. However, the one I am referring to in the rest of my post is the cave a few miles outside of Rockmart on the right side of hwy 113 toward Taylorsville. I can't remember the name of it but it was always occupied by stopping motorist. There are more caves out Portland Rd in Aragon and White River (or Terry White?) Rd in Taylorsville. One used to be owned by the Coke company years ago and actually built some sort of dwelling to retrieve the wat
  20. The entrance to the cave is on state right of way but eventually, one could say it is on someones property. I don't know about underground rights but that's a topic for another time. As for the cave, the times I explored it as a younger lad, I never found an underground lake (Lost Sea in Tenn) but there is a small creek that goes down a good bit. I don't know where it leads but that was too tight a fit for me to try. If you go, keep us posted if you find anything. Wait, I am talking about the one on 113 between Rockmart and Taylorsville. Is that the one you are talking about?
  21. Don't shoot, please don't shoot, but............................it's the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil....................<ducking down and trying not to get hit>
  22. Seems like your "justification" of your statement is a little dumber...............
