doggone it I just gave you a "positive" and you do this to me....) The EITC benefits corporations and small companies enormously and more predominantly in "conservative" states.

That is just nonsense. They are virtually the same. They are both essentially the Republican designed individual mandate plan. Single-payer is the more fiscally efficient way to go but Romney/Obamacare is undeniably what we have and undeniably what we are gonna have until more Americans realize what the real better answer is. Maybe because you have "hanldlers" you believe that I do too. I definitely don't have "handlers." The reason Massachusetts has Romney/Obamacare is the Feds made the state come up with something better than what they had. They did what a Republican governor a

That is not a reasonable statement. It is more reasonable to predict violence from a turd like Zimmerman than a "slightly sketchy could go either way" 17 year old. He could possibly, maybe even likely, have been better for society than Zimmerman ever will be. We will never know though. But, if Zimmerman had acted as a good man should, there likely wouldn't have been any trouble that night.

Americans need to decide if we want small government where people get paid and don't need assistance to get by or if we want a bigger gov't that has to administer all the subsidies full time workers need to make a living. There are many two income families that have trouble making a minimal living because the minimum wage is too low. On a related subject, the Earned Income Tax Credit is in effect corporate welfare enabling mostly Red State employers to be subsidized by Blue State employers and citizens. I'm speaking in tendencies of course but incomes in inflation adjusted dollars has drop

Question: what state is rated NUMBER ONE in healthcare in the US? Answer: the state that has had Obamacare for 6 years and 10.6 months.
-
Not quite. I just like reality as opposed to the Republican bubble kept inflated by a well financed lie machine.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2012/01/20/romney-care-massachusetts-healthcare-reform/ The best people to ask are citizens of Massachusetts. They aren't duped by propaganda lies causing numbers to change hourly in polling. They've had Nixon/Romney/Heritage/Obamacare for just about seven years and ... they (businesses included) kind of like it even with its warts. I know truth is very unpopular in the Republican bubble. It is impossible to form reasonable opinions with the misinformation spewing out of the well financed lie machine giving out opinions to people who already

"The wheels of the Gods grind slow but they grind exceedingly fine." (Can't remember who said that) Truth sometimes floats to the top. Martin had faults but if a good man had been there instead of Zimmerman, that killing never would have happened.

Over half of Americans want either Obamacare or single-payer. Given the rabid often untruthful propaganda campaign against Obamacare (and in effect against more Americans having insurance and getting medical care) it is amazing that is true. I am counted as being against Obamacare because I want the US to save money and American lives by going to single-payer. That doesn't mean I am dumb or misinformed enough to prefer the recent Republican alternatives to the Republican designed Romney/Heritage/Obamacare law. It (Romney/Heritage/Obamacare) ain't the best answer but it will be bette

Just noting facts around me. You arrogantly assumed I am ignorant of science and engineering... maybe because I usually disagree with math, science, and integrity challenged fake conservatism. I prefer competence and reality over what passes for conservatism and love of country for most Republicans in Washington.

Georgia Sen. Don Balfour Suspended From Office

Silk purse from a sow's ear.... -
One thing I noticed in the years of acquiring my engineering degree was that it was very common to see significant ignorance among the engineering students around me about science. Unless their engineering curriculum was strongly science related, many of them had never had any real science classes at all. Now my education included lots of science classes mostly because I just enjoyed learning. But seriously, lots of engineers have actually inferior knowledge of science. They can tear up some math or physics or other stuff specifically inside their major but actually have had zero science
-
Watch out Pubby. Georgia is the place where way too many believe "science" equivalent to saying the earth is flat, 6000 years old, evolution ain't real, and science is bad. It kind of explains voting habitually against their own interests. Lots of folks don't know that the list of 1700 or whatever number of scientists that "questioned" global warming science was a fake lie BS list. The name that were checked turned out to be very much against the fake report. Their names were put on that list without their knowledge or permission. The report itself was disguised to look like it came from a re

Fact is, Atlanta could gave kept the Braves in Atlanta with a little over half what the Tea Party Socialists in Cobb are going to spend in...taxpayers money. Reed and Atlanta said no... the Tea Party Socialists said yes. They are both politicians but to you one of them is black, has a funny name and is a Democrat.... I don't have any illusions about any politicians. But if you voted for Bush and Romney, you are the one lacking knowledge, voted as a low information voter and should be embarrassed.
-
One caveat: if the document involves property transfers, the notaries at Regions Bank won't do it. And, this is company wide.
-
Good old Tea Party Socialism from Cobb's Commission Chairman. Ironic that the Democrat Mayor of Atlanta said no to extortion and further Socialism. Sidenote: many have already said it, but how in the hell can the extra traffic be handled? You are 100% correct. Somehow it's "conservative" to give money to private companies? Sometimes it is (I'm sure) but it seems to be the default position for way too many politicians. Now that is just funny.

I really like Boston took all the marbles in their 101 year old ball park.

He is offering a bight shiny object. He knows the effort to repeal is tilting at windmills. He is a con man. Just having an identity and availing yourself of computer use or driving exposes you to possible id theft. Buying a ticket to a concert or giving info to a church exposes you to possible id theft.
-
And, ironically, would cause cancellation of millions of policies for the exact same reason that Obamacare does.
-
If other options don't work, the UPS stores all have notaries. There is one in the Dallas Kroger complex a few doors down towards the Subway. They charge $4 I think but you can get groceries on the same trip.
-
The next one will be 12/13/14.
-
Uh, you do know Hillarycare was never law, right? Obamacare won't be repealed. It will become more popular. Let's stay in the real world here.
-
Yes, but don't worry. Young folks are discovering the Beatles... pre-dating Kenny Rogers. Good stuff comes from all eras.

There is no such thing. There is underutilized energy all around us... the heat in ground water, solar, wind, water velocity converted to mechanical enegy (as in ram pumps,) etc etc. But any device that breaks "conservation of energy" laws of physics or ignores energy losses in all systems is bogus.

How Obama Overlooked 10 Million Americans Who Could Lose

I see your point, but should car dealers, for instance, be allowed to intentionally sell cars to buyers who are told the brakes won't work?
