Yes. Now there is no America hating President Blackenstein hating minority party impeding the business of our country. We have a much better minority party in Congress since the GOP majority took over both chambers. That is very obvious. Also, since the GOP won't approve a budget, we went from the deficit being over $1.5 TRILLION (nearly 10% of GDP) with Bush the CONservative's last budget to this fiscal year having a deficit that is about 2.2% of GDP because of the "LIBRUL" President Blackenstein. Republicans hardly ever want to approve anything worth a crap.

Indiana to pass law that could allow discrimination against gays

Horse-hockey. You postulate something so silly it's like saying the librul guvmint will start making Kroger sell and mount tires. Pure BS example to say Muslims/Jews will now have to sell pork...unless you were trying to make a funny. -
Voodoo economics (Republican fiscal policies for over 30 years) have not bankrupted this country. They have, by any informed truthful consideration, done very considerable damage to this country's fiscal health. You are aware of this fact aren't you?

I don't any serious person who can claim FOX or MSNBC or any other network is completely unbiased. Those two are more biased than most others. But, FOX is definitely more guilty of outright lying than MSNBC is. MSNBC is biased. FOX is more biased and much more likely to tell just out right lies. They do it often and quite intentionally. I watch both and take both with a grain of salt. It is much more likely that you'll hear intentional lying on FOX. That's just the way it is. The sorry fact is that if any real journalist started calling BS when they hear a lie from someone they int

65% of children in the US live in homes receiving Federal Aid

If the minimum wage were increased to match american worker productivity increases and inflation, it would now be between $18-$22 an hour. The value of the work has increased WAY more than the compensation of the work. Fact. The people you vote for work hard to diminish the middle class (likely including you and your family...for now anyway) and have been doing so for a loooong time. -

You are aware that many of the families receiving assistance also pay into the programs? Germany's social safety net is much more comprehensive than ours. That is true of many other non-third world countries. Wages have gotten so low in the US that many people who work more than one job qualify for assistance. That is a real problem. You can have a higher minimum wage or more working people with inadequate resources. Which do you pull the lever for when you vote? -

It's the damn liberals' fault again. -
I bought a whole cow two different times at the auction in Carrollton. There are folks there to truck the cow to the processor. We used Jeffers on Matt Dillon Drive west of Tallapoosa. The last time we did it, the total cost counting purchase of cow, delivery to processor and then processing into frozen packages worked out to $2.58 per pound finished packaged meat. That price does not include time and driving costs to go to the auction or to pick up the meat. I needed about 3 hours total for both trips with over 2 hours of that at the auction. You need significant freezer space.

Blame is the wrong term unless you allude to the high probability that our economy could be much better than it is if not for the near traitorous obstruction from party over country fake conservatives among the Republicans in Congress. Credit for averting a Real Depression can go partly to some of Bush's last actions in office but mostly to Obama's early actions before the nut jobs took over Congress after the 2010 elections.

Note to Pubby: It won't let me vote either....I am against fake conservatism after all, making me conservative on some issues I guess. I use Chrome. -
There are probably thousands of things Congress has stopped just in sorely needed way overdue infrastructure repairs and new construction. Just bridges alone that are in really bad shape comes close to or maybe exceeds 100k. Then, we are over a year now without a Surgeon General because Senate Republicans won't allow a vote. It's ironic that a GOP Congressman DEMANDED that the Surgeon General be made Ebola Czar. When it was pointed out to him that we don't have a Surgeon General because of GOP obstruction in the Senate, he had to do the "Roseann Roseannadanna: "well...never mind.""

Our country narrowly averted going into much worse depression during that time. According to some conservative but non-partisan economists, we did prevent a real Depression....in spite of the hindrances and obstructionism of fake conservatives. And the fake conservatives would have loved to grow instead of shrink deficits....if the borrowing had been used to pad bank accounts of people who can't remember how many houses they own. Lots of the "spending" during from that time went to give tax cuts to middle-class and poor... which really did help the American people and the economy.
-
And, if Obama were Republican and the GOP members of Congress Democrats, many would have no trouble seeing how sorry those arseholes have been just to "get" Obama.
-
Yep. You are correct. Now, guess which political party likes screwing the middle class and poor... and hindering the business of this country and thus the recovery. That would be the fake conservatives in the GOP. At least they were briefly honest when they stated their only or at least all-consuming goal was to stop Obama....not promote economic recovery....not promote job creation....not help this country re-build its infrastructure. It's like Bob Dole said: Republicans like Eisenhower or Reagan couldn't work with the Republicans of today. He is right.

The US economy grew (annualized) at 4.6% in the second quarter and 3.9% in the 3rd quarter. Now who was it that told me it would never crack 4% in the second quarter?

Hey, the Briar Patch has some durn good vittles. Their Blue Cheese dressing is I believe the same as Kate and Odell Vaughn used to make way before there there was the first Briar Patch. Lots of good vittles there. You can't beat that Blue Cheese dressing. I buy it by the quart often.

Floor sweepings, gelatin and high fructose corn syrup....just a guess.

Another organizational example of the same level of integrity as the "cigarette scientists" propagandists. It would be interesting to see the sources of their funding. They sure don't advocate for the most fiscally conservative way of doing healthcare. It is very uncommon to find a Republican who advocates for true fiscal conservatism in healthcare matters or just straight federal fiscal policies. The "liberals" have been more conservative than Republicans for over 34 years now. The Galen Organization says things that show their interest is not seeing the most Americans get healthcare

In the fake conservative move to cut off Georgia's nose to spite its face, our state "leaders" continue to refuse Medicaid expansion. It isn't just punishing poor and and hardworking employed people who can't afford medical care who are a bit younger than 65. It is punishing the whole state. And, it isn't JUST costing us jobs in the medical fields. You can say some bad things about Jan Brewer, but she had the gumption, decency, and fiscal sense to force Arizona's legislature to pass Medicaid expansion. I forgive her for some of her silliness from the past. Other Republican governors a

Joseph Campbell had some great writings on the good things common to almost all religions. You may remember him from his series with Bill Moyers.

Try lighter roasts and grinding your own beans. Have you tried the French Press method of brewing? Way better but uses more coffee and more time/trouble.

Contemptible (literally) members of Congress voted to hold a person better than any of the "yea" voters in contempt. The worst Congress in generations (because of the ilk of the "yea" voters) did many other stupid destructive things to this country besides that idiotic thing. This Congress is the best at being the worst. They suck and not in a good way.
