Agreed. Good riddance.

Welcome. Great to have you aboard.

As I understand it, a person is given multiple life sentences in case one is overturned on appeal. My problem is that life does not always mean life. I agree. With the recent improvement in forensics, I think we can go further than ever before in removing doubt in many cases.

I support the death penalty as long it is carried out quickly. The practice of spending 10-20 years on death row has to stop. I would like to see an expedited appeal process that would carry out the verdict within about 90 days of the original verdict or a max of one year from when the crime was committed.

I do not boil the tea bags. Once the water boils, I pour the water in the pitcher and put in 4 family size tea bags and allow to sit for about 10-15 minutes. Add 1.5 cups of sugar and enjoy.

Looking for a Church with a great Youth Choir program

Great - thanks for the info. -
I have had two GM products in my life and both died an early death after sinking a lot of money into repairing them. I am a stickler for auto maintenance, so that was not the issue. I sent a letter to GM asking for an apology and some type of reimbursement. I never heard a word from them, so I have sworn off GM products.

Denomination is really not that important. I would just like to observe a great program in action.

At a former employer, we had a MD80 engine that spit out its guts just west of ATL. Many small chunks of metal hit a strip mall and the police were called because they thought it was a drive by shooting.

First off, let me say that I am really sorry that you are having to be put through this ordeal. It sounds to me that the mechanic is just throwing a bunch of parts at it and hoping to get lucky. I would take the car to someone else that could actually diagnose the problem. I do not ask my customers to wrong hunches and I do not think this person should expect you to pay for his.

3 Rescued From Stuck Truck On Cobb Covered Bridge
afriendlygeek replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was caught in the jam caused by this poor soul last night. I just do not see how this happened. The height of the bridge is clearly marked in several places. Apparently he was new to the area and not paying attention. -
Let's keep our fingers crossed.

What happens if you do not reboot your computer? Do you receive an error message or does the pcom page just fail to load?

So what about Grizzly Adams. He always had a bear with him. If you approached him in the woods, would he yell out "bear with me"?

I'm using OpenDNS for my kids. I basically involves registering and changing the DNS servers. It does not set limits on how much time or when they can use the computer, but it does provide filtering. It is also free. opendns.com
