I just had a fabulous meal @ The Taste of Dixie... Meatloaf that melts in your mouth, collards perfectly seasoned, scalloped potatoes, cornbread & made room for blackberry pie surrounded by bananas - I'm about to explode! And I love my new friend Billy Lee... You guys really need to try this place -

I am so jealous!!! My Dad was Greek, and I visited in the mid-90's to find the graves of my great-grandparents. I could write a book... after the find I joined my girlfriends on Mykonos - the wildest place I've ever been, and the most fun. We went in August, which is the holiday season for most of Europe so it was crowded. The schedule was dinner at 10-11pm, followed by partying - beautiful scenery, most folks were up most of the night, grabbed some sleep and hit the beach around 11 next morning. I was pretty exhausted when we left there, the Greeks are very friendly and warm. You'll make lots

This is interesting - reasons associated, "painful", don't differ from avg. weight females. There must be another reason out there... For me, the uncomfortable few seconds is well worth it, as my cancer was found on mammogram. -
One more time please... It's fixed

That's interesting... not sure how Pam would damage the dish, can you ask him? - several posts from installers on the net recommend it, I would think there would be a warning and I haven't seen one.. he also has to think about his job and corporate policy, I'm sure... here's a link to a direct tv forum My link

I'm making coffee and putting it in the fridge... cause iced coffee is better than no coffee...

Honestly, I don't understand the tech stuff but my husband says we have 5 satellites for our dish and if one goes out, they're all out... all I know
-
It probably depends on the angle of the dish - ours is angled to get over the trees. From what I read, when snow builds up on the bottom portion of the dish it reflects the signal, so lost picture. This happened to us last snow. There's quite a bit of info on the web about it...

OK, that's a picture...

That's for you "city folk" - we're too far off the road for cable, the dish is it!
-
The bowl part - speaking of "bowls"... My husband is determined to watch the national championship Mon. nite, so we did a little research. We lost our signal during the last snow, so we thought we'd try Pam this time.

With Pam - supposed to keep snow from building up & gives good reception, as googled...

Thanks Lady Raider, but I'm happy to be a volunteer with this great program from the American Cancer Society... just one of many wonderful programs they have for folks dealing with cancer.

Our January Look Good, Feel Better session will take place on January 17th, from 10-12. For those not familiar, this is a free (thanks to the American Cancer Society) "spa session" for women dealing with the effects of chemo and/or radiation. Each woman receives a make-up bag with cosmetics from companies such as Chanel, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, etc. The session is run by our licensed cosmetologist, and she's awesome. She teaches skincare, and make-up application while dealing with treatment. We also talk about wigs/head coverings at the end of the session. It's fun, and a chance for wom

Wonderful service... -
We bought ipads for presentation purposes with our business, but I'm using it for much more... books, mags, newspapers and I have an app that allows me to upload my databases so I can carry customer info with me. The database app is powerful and interactive, so I can use it for orders on the go. The screen is beautiful, so presentations are very nice - check email and faxes on the go. I do have Keynote for "powerpoint-like" slideshows, designed on the iPad. And I have Pages, which is like "word". I haven't had a problem with the battery life -

We ate there last night - they have some work to do... they were busy, but service was sketchy. Like the other poster, the food was lukewarm - our appetizer, queso w/ chorizo, was good but the rest of the meal was average. Both managers were very visible and trying to bus tables - we'll try it again, but after they've had a chance to work out the opening jitters... Las Palmas has the best poblanos, and we love La Cocina - but hoping this restaurant pulls it together -

He's been to Scott's - no bread... But they have Doritos
