  1. I assume you ran the scan and repaired the prob's

Also, how old is your system? How much you use it will depend on how well this works. The registry system in Windows get fractured and corrupted with time and use. The primary selling point to this software is what it can do to repair your registry system. As far as doing a privacy sweep, it came up with over 35K problems. And it also managed to get shed of 88 megs of junk that the standard Windows disk cleanup could never do.

BTW- I forgot to add......REBOOT YOUR MACHINE AFTER RUNNING THE SCAN TO SEE THE RESULTS.

Ahh ok I didn't reboot. Should've know better!

    Thanks

  2. I can't believe that you haven't just gone over and just talked to him. I haven't seen anything that said you did. Golly! You are neighbors! He may be the antichrist, but he may just not realize that you are sitting next door steaming.

Whatever, if he is blissfully banging on his drums all day and having fun, and you are stewing in your own juices, you are the only one being hurt - by your own hands.

Turn on your charms and talk to him nicely.

If that doesn't work, hire a lawyer that can understand that nebulous ordinance posted above.

BTW: Where in this beautiful county do you live in a subdivision that doesn't have any other noises, like construction, logging, road paving, or annoying screaming kids?

Since some of us can't understand all of "nebulous ordinance posted above", read only the first paragraph. Figured I would add the entire ordinance.

    Sec. 46-62.

The following acts are declared to be loud, disturbing and unnecessary noises and shall be noises in violation of this article:

    (1) Radios, phonographs, cassette and compact disc players, musical instruments. The using, operating or permitting to be played, used or operated, of any radio receiving set, musical instrument, phonograph or other machine or device for the producing or reproducing of sound in a manner as to disturb the peace, quiet and comfort of the neighboring inhabitants or at any time with louder volume than is reasonably necessary for convenient hearing for the person who is in the room, vehicle or chamber in which this machine or device is operated and who is a voluntary listener thereto is prohibited. The operation of the set, instrument, phonograph, or other machine or device, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. in such a manner as to be plainly audible at a distance of 50 feet from the building, structure, or vehicle in which it is located shall be prima facie evidence of a violation of this paragraph.

  3. In that case I owe you an apology. What is a dead horse (or dog) to some is an interesting discussion to others. I love to try to see where others are standing to have the view they have on some of these topics. Not that they are wrong, and a lot of times they might have an opinion close to mine and I just want to see how they formed their opinion.

Again, my apologies for being a smart ass. Have a nice day and be careful out there (guessing you are working tonight).

Thanks for the apology and accepted. Naw I'm off tonight and last night. Was gonna watch the game but feel asleep and forgot to TIVO it........

  4. Feelip, The only reason I said BLAH BLAH BLAH was because no one is going to change anyones mind in a thread like this. I didn't offer my opinion or blast anyone. Was simply expressing my thought on the rhetoric over the dead dog that is being beaten

  5. Hey 3 bullets and been a member 10 days... I don't blame you for trying! :p

Yea, the mods thought I was someone that had been on here and got kicked off and came back under a new name and just kept on shooting me. I was a jerk on some of the post and probably deserved one of the bullets but the other two were very bogus. Got a 3 day suspension but pubby let me back only after 2 days (thanks Pub) cause he verified who I am. Thought I was gonna get some of the bullets taken off too but guess I keep them....

  6. Go to Paulding.gov and you will find the link to Paulding County Code link down on the lower left area of the page. Many helpful codes that are not state law and many police/sheriff do not know all of them since we don't use them that often.

Seeing that I have 3 bullets, I think this act of kindness of digging up this information is worthy of a mayberry! :D

Go to Paulding.gov and you will find the link to Paulding County Code link down on the lower left area of the page. Many helpful codes that are not state law and many police/sheriff do not know all of them since we don't use them that often.

  8. As a police officer, I find that many many times that I answer noise complaints that the complainant hardly ever approaches the one making the noise and ask them to turn it down. Now if it is midnight or if it is a party full of drunks then I can understand but if it is during the day or 9 or 10 at night.....give your neighbor the same respect that you would be wanting. Don't just go call the police instead of approaching them fisrt.

Note to OP, I am not talking about you since I don't know if you talked to him yet or not. Also I am looking on th Paulding.gov website to see if we (Paulding residents) have any such ordinance against noise. I know that in the county that I work in, we have a county noise ordinance against any offensive noise. There is no "time" assigned to this ordinance as it only states that if it annoys or harrasses someone then it is unlawful.

  9. Hmmmmmmm......So I write something offensive to someone that is too easily offended and my post gets deleted and yet others can post things that make me wanna vomit. Not stopping for a funeral procession is highly disrespectful, I don't care what color, religion, or sex the dead person is. Just wrong. Yet the status quoe is cool with this hethen behavior. The one's claiming not to stop that brag about this disrespect should truly be protected and let them spew this filth. <_<

  10. we do jobs that alleviate the horrors, correct the horrors, or try to prevent the horrors. I lookk at it this way, why would God bother helping a collective group of imbeciles (thatd be the human race in this instance) when most of us dont bother trying to help ourselves? If I were God I know I wouldnt...is send an asteroidal calamity from the skies obliterate the failed race and start all over. Im not saying I dont think there isnt a God, im just saying thats how I see it, I figure God probably has better things to do with the universe being as vast and old (14 billion years) as it is than to sit therre and worry about a group of people who cant at least agree that differences of opinion arent worth killing over unless someone has already started killing over them. until we reach that point...meh Ill keep putting bad guys in jail.

The "failed race"? Seems that you are claiming that GOD made a mistake in the creation of man? My GOD makes NO mistakes. Granted, we are evil and sadistic and some of us should be hit in the head with a hammer (some, more than one time) but I think "free will" is to blame, not GOD. I do believe that certain things happen to wake us up or to make us open our eyes but I do not agree that HE made a mistake by making us. HE made us in his image. Christians = Christ like people.

  11. Religion and politics are the two most sensitive subjects on here. Oh, and animals! When people are passionate about something, they are going to argue it to the death. I have to say, I can be guilty of doing the same thing. I've kinda learned to think before I speak after several bashfests on here! I try to speak out of love rather than trying to prove that I am right when I'm discussing religion on here. ;)

Animals? So I should not announce that I killed a deer for his head this year (Yes I am eating him too and it is mighty tasty) or that I plan on going rabbit hunting next week and hope to kill multiple little bunnies. Oh and don't forget turkey hunting after that. Our freezer will be full! See, I love animals too. I just love to eat them.

  12. Oh, well now...THAT might be the case MOST of the time! I'll grant you that one!

Hey. why are these people so SERIOUS and passionate about EVERYTHING???? If anyone has an opinion then someone out there HAS to jump in and tell them just how wrong they are. BURP.......
