I agree. I can also understand her desire to be with her son. But she has to realize that he has committed evil murderous crimes against innocent people and she can't dismiss the fact that he is a terrorist just because he is her son. She needs to come to terms that she may not be granted the rights of mother, as she very well shouldn't be.

I just now saw the last update from her and of course it made me cry. So so so happy for Tripp and I'm sure his family is overjoyed by this small step. And that picture is beautiful by the way! Yay Tripp!!!

Apparently the kid tried to commit suicide before he was apprehended by police. Authorities believe the brothers had a suicide pact to prevent them from being put on trial if ey were caught. It'll take me a lot longer to get there. It's taken me 5 1/2 years just to get over 1300.

We bought our house 5 years ago but we put 45% down. Our loan was for approx. $88,000. Last year, our tax assessment said the value of our home was $69,000 (made me just sick when I saw that). That's less than half the value of the house when we bought it. So even though we've got almost 50% equity in our house, we're still upside down in our mortgage. Rockysmom, you're right about the bad timing. It's not always a matter of bad decisions or poor choices.
