I don't get it low ... no one is looking for a replacement for Hillary on the ticket. That your side is saying crap like that is what is so stupid because it shows you guys are sooooo clueless. Hell, did you know - do you remember that Donald rented one of his properties to Muammar el-Qaddafi 'cause he was trying to put up a trump tower in Libya. Of course I suppose Donald Trump could be secretly poisoning Hillary and that could be how those saying so claim that she is deathly ill ... and as Dr. Omalu said, he doesn't trust Trump not to commit murder. However, the more probable situation

The only advantage to Aldi that would make them more likely to kick-in bigger cash would be if the story never broke. When the story was told to WABC-TV ... those negotiations were over. Now the cat was out of the bag and there is no opportunity for whatever the publicity hit to be avoided. It is not like the parents are saying their daughter suffered whiplash from her effort to get away from the spider cooked in the cookie. pubby

Hillary doesn't have any major health problems ... which makes that discussion rather limited ... and The donald's problems ... did you see the video of the 176 unforgivable gaffes that Olbermann produced? ... are so much more 'entertaining.' I mean, what is up with the $20,000 for the six-foot portrait of the man with a 20,000 foot ego? ... Wait, I exaggerate ... Even Obama mentioned how modest he was because he could have commissioned a 10-foot portrait with the charity money. pubby PS: I love it how he donated $150,000 to one group which awarded him for his contribution at an

If you read the article, you might be surprised that that Omalu based his suspicions on his enormous distrust of Trump and Putin, whom he conflates. Given my level of trust in both Trump and Putin is similar; maybe they ought to check her blood. Stranger things have happened. I wonder if the foundation has bought any poison? Just asking. pubby

I don't agree, CC ... I figure it is more like 3-5 percent of the population who are in the fully vested deplorable group - i.e. those whose influence is strong among maybe 10-20 percent of the 40 percent of the voters who are staying loyal to the GOP. I think you would include at least two or three Fox Opinion folks (along with Ailes) but not, for instance, Beck who sees through Trump like a laser (even as he sells gold to his followers). Party loyalty ... and the influence of the right-wing media/government slander machine, which has been working on Hillary overtime since the mid 1990s, a

She was probably 'bagged' because the event would last a couple of hours, she was probably trying to maintain her fluids and where would she go? ... a public restroom ... That's a great thing for the public to have the secret service men go into the public woman's restroom and clear it out ... It is not unheard of for those under such intense scrutiny to put on a bag. Hell, astronauts wear them Is it something you (or anyone) would advertise? Should I meet a person, is it any of my business if they are wearing a bag? If it is not a matter of a health issue ... and it most pro

RM: The conspiracy theories are just another manifestation of the bs coming out of the Trump campaign, which is waging a desperate war of misinformation, which of course, includes conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theories are a particular potent weapon in wars of disinformation as they are not easily disprovable as proving negatives to skeptics is an impossible chore. This leaves us with the reality of the media coverage and perceptions of the voters. Media coverage, if it were honest, would totally dismiss the chances that Donald Trump has. Media coverage and audiences are dep

I'm just laughing my ass off because you are so full of it Really ROTFLMAO ... official spin  Truly ... you wouldn't believe how I got that. The official line, btw, is that Trump is not being transparent about his health either ... and when will he release his tax returns. I'm so beyond the official line that your assertion that I am parroting it is hilarious. pubby PS: You do know I'm proud of my own personal creative spinmeistering and if I were easily insulted, I would be.

Should I assume from you diatribe that you identify personally with (Choose one:) David Duke, a KKK Grand Dragon and noted 'deplorable' person conspiracy freak Alex Jones alt-right white nationalist David Bannon Vlad Putin Kim Jung Il ISIS leaders who support Trump because they want such a stupid foil to aid their recruiting none of the above If you don't fit into one of those groups, then you weren't skewered. Now on to the name-calling regime. I don't recall anyone by Trump using language like "Lying Ted, little Marco, etc." Hell his use of such juvenile defines what you are saying

Yep, the natives are restless as they enjoy their little conspiracy because they know, down deep, what it really sounds like. As far as Trump, the only thing he deserves to be the president of is the PLA Campaigning is hard on all folks. A case of walking pneumonia is eminently plausible. The reality is this race is about the oligarchs maintaining their grip or increasing their grip on society. With Democrats ... victory means it is the uneasy status quo where things continue on with everyone in society more or less 'in.' Discrimination, inclusion and the idea we

In my defense, her comment was... I grew up with things like the Hollywood black list where those who took the fifth - i.e. exercised their constitutional rights - were deprived their livelihoods. Such boycotts - and yes pcom has been a target of them - are a common tactic among those on the right. Further it is one that I associate with mrshoward ... I didn't say anything about a personal attack, I just noted your attitude, which I assume if you owned the team, you'd fire the guy acknowledging that under right to work laws, it is your constitutional right to hire someone

Been down ... back up. We went down shortly after 2:30 today and we're back. Knowing that it would be on the Friday of labor day weekend. Oh well, I'm looking to see what the issue was. pubby

I don't think it is a secret mrshoward, that you have absolutely no problem of doing anything you can to destroy the livelihood of anyone with whom you disagree. The constitution, as you know, only prevents the government from performing such dastardly acts of vindictive hate. pubby

Actually, GD, if you checked who started topics and what they said, you'd see t hat I don't start that many political topics. Rather, others start the topics and when they make outlandish, partisan pitches they draw reactions from those who disagree... or sometimes even if they don't draw outlandish partisan pitches. The candidacy of Donald Trump, however, represents a clear and present danger. I recognize I've been outspoken about the guy but the number of Republicans out there who are publicly opposing him is important. The bottom line is that the best hope for the nation is for so

A 25-year-old with no Trump ties raises $1 million by dangling 'dinner' with the GOP nominee. Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/donald-trump-fundraiser-hawes-227486#ixzz4J2dv495b Yep, better watch out because this PAC apparently will not be able to deliver a dinner to anyone for the donation ... The kid says that he will return money to those who are sucked in by the scam ... which is more than one would expect from a campaign (especially Trumps). pubby PS: Under the current laws as amended by the Roberts Supreme Court, this is perfectly legal.

What are you talking about. The only thing I recall on this was the AP story which said: DO THE MATH. That 69 people who didn't give a cent to Secy Clinton had sit downs with her kind of blows away the concept of exclusive access. Of course had all 154 of 154 people that met with her (from outside government) then you could have said that access was based on having been 'willing' to contribute to charity. I think it is about the same as when someone meets with the sheriff and tells him that he donated to the Boys Ranch sponsored by the Sheriff's ... not everyone is a sponsor
-
Hand in the cookie jar? Bullcheese ... In your dreams. Money has always bought access and there is nothing other than conjecture that a quid pro quo ever existed. I mean, we all look at Big PHarma's contributions to the GOP in the period when medicare part D was passed (drug benefit) and we can see they, as a group, included language - the same language that guarantees that epipens are grotesquely priced - yet there was no 'quid pro quo' or everyone who voted for that bill would be a criminal. Or how about the oodles of money the NRA has given almost exclusively to GOP member
-
Here is the summary: What is really crazy is you guys saying that you want/expect Hillary to slam the door in the face of those who contributed to her campaigns, the Clinton foundation, etc. because they gave money to these causes. Yep, you see nothing at all wrong with the notion that those whom you support also take campaign contributions (or in the case of the Bushes, contributions to the points of light foundation) and it is more than fine to be cordial and accommodating ... Oh, and you don't rail against the SCOTUS blocking the enforcement of campaign finance laws effectivel

Homeland security to take control of all 50 state elections?
gpatt0n replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you've read anything about the 2002, 2004, and 2012 elections, including Georgia ('02) and Ohio ('04,'12) specifically, you might wonder if the elections might have been hacked before. There is a yarn about 2012 and Ohio that suggests that a DDOS attack by the hacker group anonymous hit a server in Chattanooga Tn that kept that server from re-writing the main Secy of State of OHIO's computer that was the real cause for Karl Rove's nervous breakdown on Fox News that election night. While that one is more recent and dissed by freepress.org, notably, the same folks did find real computer -

I think the last time I bought eggs (at Food Depot) I opted for the 30-egg large tray for just pennies over $2.00. Another product that seems over-priced is cheese. For the most part, the regular retail price is about $4/lb and if you get a coupon or a sale, it can be as low as $3/lb. My preferred source for mozzarella is Sams club where you can buy 5 lb bags for a little under $2.30. Food depot, which adds 10 percent to the price, lists its one pound product for $2.79 which works out to about $3.08/lb ... often more than a dollar cheaper than kroger. pubby
