    We did the same, it is beautiful. We stayed at a very nice B&B in Manitou Springs.

    Think it was a couple years ago when there a lot of storms in the Gulf and they had to evacuate the platforms....The price of gas shot up. You're right...not good news.

    Hope more folks feel like you do, then it won't get real crowded, it's pretty busy at it is....... BTW, the food is fresh from scratch and is awesome.

    When they put the stop light on Nebo, it was time to move. Close enough to shop, far enough to enjoy the country, 1/4 mile off the highway...

    We're about 1 mile from Rose's, go to Rockmart very often, not crowded and a lot less traffic. Pizza Farm is awesome !!

    Is that the old Meril's BBQ? If so, we got a pizza from there once, it was kinda okay, I've heard they have added things to there menu.
