I get the PSA test every year along with the famous finger wave . The first thing my Urologist ask if any of my family have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, I answered no and he said that was a big plus. The PSA test is nothing, but really don't want to go through the biopsy routine. You are correct, it is a very slow growing type cancer, will probably die with the disease not from the disease.

You are full of chit, and you know it. A few months ago you said you were a conservative, don't know if that was before after your drinking.....

I have had my Urologists and surgeon tell me that yes it is unreliable but until something better comes along.....My PSA is a little high but no big swings in level. I will not have the screening (biopsy) done, my Oncologist said the treatment can be worse than the disease. And it's true about the levels, have a friend that had a PSA reading of 3 and had Prostate cancer, another friend with an 11, did not have cancer....so who knows.

Hard to get across to some folks......
