Do you still need the converter to receive the antenna signals? Or just hook the antenna lead to the TV and start receiving.

Amazon to start collecting sales tax in Georgia on Sept. 1
barrycdog replied to barrycdog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My question will this be just state taxes or the local taxes form the area you live. Atlanta for example is 8% and other areas 7%. By the way I ran into this issue with a gift of a van from my niece. She had listed it or the vehicle had been at one time listed on a used vehicle site in North Carolina for sale. It never sold and the used dealer went defunct but the state still wanted to claim taxes on a out of state vehicle of which I paid around $260 dollars for taxes. The vehicle never left Georgia. Fair tax however would have eliminated taxes on used items. -

I participated in the free digital tv converter program but have misplaced the converter. Does anybody know of a place where you can buy a reliable one. I don't need the analog conversion as the tv is digital. I just need the reciever to pick op digital signals.

O.K. all good info above but again I wonder if the Government forecloses on a home shouldn't they have done the major legwork before they sell a home and would it be more beneficial for HUD employees to be the realtors.

http://www.bankrate.com/finance/mortgages/2012-closing-costs/georgia-closing-costs.aspx The total for closing costs looks to be close to $4000 dollars. You see ads all the time for HUD homes with the down payment being only $100 dollars and think why people cant purchase a home. My question would be why. Particularly title an title insurance. The county and state should be maintaining these records since that's what your tax dollars go for. If something changes like boundaries or liens that would be handled homeowner or whoever holds the lien. I understand in some cases the state sets thes

Incredible. There is a place in Acworth that makes cement culverts and pipes. I am not sure if there is any savings there. I think it is called McEvers.

You can donate it. One way to clear off all data is to fdisk and reformatt the hard drive but you would need the operating system to restore.

I would not try to even think of the interstate. I was hoping to pass through some less traveled routes.

I am currently looking at Google maps. I noticed an affordable way to purchase a scooter on Craigslist and found I am about 29.7 miles from work. Google maps does the distance walking and bicycling. What I am wondering is the very minimum sppeds for driving on some thoroughfares. The internet is kinda fuzzy on this one especially in Georgia. You definitely have to have a drivers license. I understand some of the safety risks involved. I just wondered about speed.

I could not see one less than $60 on craigslist and that ad you have showed the weights too. I don't think you can beat that price in your bing ad.
