Last night, my better half took me to dinner at C&S seafood. Chargrilled oysters, truly a little tiny piece of heaven in your mouth. Then for dinner I had the king crab legs. They were unlike ANY crab I've had in a long, long time. Sweet, fat, whole pieces of tender, tender crabmeat. I've had my special dinner that will last me a while! Thanks Babyface!

French onion soup that I made this morning. Going to toast a chunk of bread, rub raw garlic on it, spread some butter on it and top it with cheese to go under the broiler until brown and bubbly and then plopped right in the middle of the bowl of soup. Chopped salad on the side.

Well then, I guess they can look forward to people CONTINUING to go outside the county with their tax dollars. We have such nice spots for this type of thing.......it's sad huh? I would enjoy a lively, fun community gathering. I would love for the tax dollars to stay here as well.

I understand that Smyrna, you know that little kinda like a town square that they developed, has a food truck festival on Tuesday nights. Bet someone that is organizing the Dallas event knows someone involved in the Smyrna event who could brainstorm with them to make this a really good event. The Smyrna event is growing, growing, growing......people LOVE this kind of community gathering.

In my book, this is really a big problem. How can you say you are looking to join the community and promote local events and allow this to happen? This is a problem folks! Who was in charge of this event. Who organized it? I'm off to see if I can find out.

How come so many events turn out like this? The people have proven that they would support them. Two Food trucks does not a festival make.... Guess someone didn't get busy huh?

Dabbs Bridge is laid out like a snake. I thinking I'm glad maybe that much will change. If you go off Dabbs Bridge on just about any side road, you will see some pretty amazing homes and property.

Many people feel that LE are overstepping their bounds. Unfortunately, sooner or later, someone will post a conflicting post upon contact of the soapbox and then, suddenly, the ones that feel bounds are being over stepped are pro criminal activity. Not sure how that happens but it does. Around here anyway.

I do believe every other generation says the same thing about the ones prior. To read this board......all you can think is gloom and doom. Quit it. There's many really good people out there. Ones that are actually happy in their lives, so calm down and realize all your blessings.

I hate that he is gone and to a certain point I think all these tribute specials are pretty tacky. Perhaps he didn't know or really didn't want to let anyone in. Thankfully, he had a loving support system. I'm finding out, it appears he was a really good guy.
