I don't believe there would be a great demand for that product. You need to give the American citizens more credibility than that.

Don't forget the EPA, Greenpeace, Corps of engineers, the interior dept., FDA,EEO,Fish and Wildlife dept.,Endangered species dept., Health and Human services dept., CDC, and on-n-on-n-on-n-on, by the time we got approval from all of the above that well will be empty.

I guess we should just shut down all of our borders, then we could take care of the ILLEGAL invasion issue at the same time. Like I stated before if enough USA consumers boycott with their wallets then the markets will adjust with out the govt. intervention. Now that being said there was obviously some shady business pratices going on in the diamond market, as soon as the consumers of those goods realized the overseas implications, they would have taken their wallets elsewhere. There is no way that our govt. can do a better job than a free market can.
