  1. I can understand this situation a little better if it was a warrant for a serial killer/murderer or of the like. But for someone that may have had marijuana or even prescription meds, this isn't an acceptable way to enter a home, in my opinion. They could surround the house, then enter. I mean seriously, if I were at home, say in the back of the house and someone busted through the door as described, I would also grab whatever weapon of defense I had handy and defend myself. I TOTALLY understand the risks and dangers of the police profession. There are a lot of crazy people, dangerous, dr
  2. Hahahahahaha - I had to go back and see what I put. Oops, sorry. Yep, if I saw it on someone else's post, it would drive me crazy too.
  3. I don't think that's it? Never heard of the Bible Verse. But I might need to find it, sound good too! I'm talking about where there's a small car lot/detail shop, tattoo, computer repair place, barber shop.
  4. Good or not? is it just breakfast or breakfast & lunch?
  5. i just don't get stories like this. I agree with the other post on here, how can other family members not report or ask about a child that was born and never seen or heard from again? In this particular case, they moved around from state to state a lot. But in other cases, family members live fairly close to the "missing" child. If I knew of a relative having a child and never got an update, picture, or something on the child, I would question it. There are so many families that would take the child in, why do "parents" do this? How can you day in and day out see your own flesh &
  6. "Where are you going?" Seriously?!?! I would have to be a smart @$$ and say, no where. I mean unless you're headed in the direction of a road closure or vehicle accident, its none of their business. That's crazy!
  7. Osborne 1986/87, 1987/88 and Oakwood 1988/89, 1989/90
  8. We were in Panama City last week, but traveled to Destin for McGuire's Irish Pub. It was great! Neat atmosphere and decor. We happened to go on a Wednesday night around 9:30pm and were informed that every Wed, ladies drink for free after 10pm. Needless to say I started of my dinner with an Irish Wake drink and ended with free beer samplings. The place was packed after 10... ladies to drink for free and men to enjoy the "scenery"
  9. oh, and I'd say a week - week and half ago is when I bought it. Don't confuse it with a book I saw that's called just "Fifty Shades." Not the same. Look for the auther E.L. James
  10. I want to say the kroger in Acworth on Cobb Pkwy. But probably most have it.
  11. I haven't read a book in a very long time. Just can't make time for it these days with a 2.5 year old and working full time. HOWEVER, I fell to peer pressure and bought the book at Kroger of all places. O M G!!! I now have to force myself to put the book down and go to sleep, catch a page or two as my son takes a bath, etc. Very graphic but in an oh-so-good way I will definitely be buying the next two books.
  12. Um, oh yes PLEASE pick him as Christian! Yuuuuuuummmmmy
  13. I like to read, but haven't had the time in a very long time. I'm making time for this book and can't put it down. I think it will benefit my fiance in the long run... just sayin'
  14. I recently found a wine thats a blend of reds, called Apothic Red. They make cabernet/merlot too. Love this stuff. I actually found it at Ingles on display. Then I found it at Walmart and the liquor store. It's becoming more popular, apparently. It's around $10 a bottle.
  15. I was spanked with a switch, belt, hand, wooden spoon, whatever was within my mom's reach. It taught me right from wrong. I thought twice before I started to something wrong and weighed out how bad the spanking was compared to how badly I wanted to do said action. I've never been to jail, very stable (18 years on job) and responsible family life. My brother who is 10 years younger, was never spanked, disiplined, or held accountble for his actions. He has a new job every 3 months, very disrespectful to his son & wife. Has no sense of responsibilty and short tempered. Hates to confo
  16. Yes, you would be correct
  17. I went Thursday afternoon and it was slammed packed! I've visitied the Acworth store several times and LOVE the produce quality and prices. I haven't tried too many other products from there yet, but I'm sure I will eventually, as I plan to make this a weekly grocery visit.
  18. Product worth the money? Did you notice a difference?
  19. we tried it twice in one week. Great food, resonable prices, and great atmosphere. Hope they stick around, especially on that side of town in stead of getting in the hustle & bustle of 92/278 area. I agree, have the option or garlic or non-garlic bread and upgrade the fries. otherwise, excellent!!!
  20. Headed to the funeral today. Much love to the Scoggins/Self families. RIP sweet cousin, we sure had some good times together.
