If you aren't going to set a definite date, you need to know around what month you want to have it, bc a lot of venues are probably already booked up for next spring. If nothing else, pick a few dates that will work out and go from there when booking the venue. ABSOLUTELY!!!! I did this and my ENTIRE wedding cost around $5000-$6000 (including my $1100 dress!)

I'm the same way, but I handmade a lot of our things. I had a lot of fun planning it though. It turned out perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better. My dad tried to pay us off to go to Vegas. I wasn't old enough to drink or gamble at the time, so I refused. I would really like to go to Vegas though!

NO...only fill out things like...if you like a particular DJ or if you want to register at a certain store. If you fill out info for a travel agency about honeymoons, they'll call you nonstop also, so be careful with that.

OMG! DON"T FILL OUT ANYTHING WITH YOUR PHONE NUMBER AT THE BRIDAL SHOW! They will call and convince you that you've won a trip and all you have to do is listen to a sales pitch for an hour (then buy $3000 pots & pans). They won't call once, or twice, or three times...they will call you once a week almost trying to convince you to come. DON"T DO IT!!!!
