Regardless of how he acted before she started dragging him like some kind of animal, this never should have happened. There are other ways to make your child get from point A to point B.... I prefer the "You can either get up and walk right now, or I can give you a spanking and you can get up and walk." (which usually works) if that doesn't work, I use the method where I grab her firmly by her upper arm and take her with me, regardless of whether she wants to or not. ETA: If we've gotten to that point, she's already gotten a warning from me.
