I know. I was saying, if you do all the 'girly' games and things that are traditional at baby showers, then it probably wouldn't fly with most men. If you make it more of a laid-back get-together thing, then it would be better for them.

If it's done like a baby shower....no. If you make it a friendly get-together/cookout type thing....yes. It all depends on how you do it.

Honestly, I will be happy no matter what. I'm afraid hubby will be a little bit disappointed at first if it's a girl....and that's what I'm worried about, because it will break my heart if he's disappointed..... but he will still love her and spoil her just the same. The neighbor knew I was home alone working on tagging clothes for the consignment sale next weekend, so she brought me dinner. She brought me BBQ Chicken, Sausage, a Burger, a Hotdog, Mashed Potatoes (which are probably the best I've ever tasted!), and some watermelon. No..I won't eat all of it.....right now at least.
