"Rachel Dolezal grew up in what her parents called a diverse family, with friends from various ethnicities and four adopted siblings who are black. She was “always interested in ethnicity and diversity” growing up" Growing up with black siblings seems to have made her just as confused as Bruce Jenner.

So I'm guessing that he/she is going to be classified as a Lesbian? I haven't had a sex change and I realized that I was a Lesbian trapped in a man's body years ago...

I'm okay with Happy New Years and Happy Holidays. But hearing 'Happy' Memorial Day just rubs me the wrong way when this holiday is all about remembering and honoring our fallen heroes. But I guess it's just another day off for most. Holidays like Memorial Day and Labor Day have lost their true meaning.

Why Are White Gang Members Destroying Their Own Community?

It would have been less of a financial burden on the county if they had just let them kill off each other. -
What is so bad about eating horse meat ?
CanYouHearMeNow replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Horse meat is lower in fat, higher in protein, higher in vitamins and minerals - of course the government doesn't want us eating horse meat. Besides, who wants to hear Roy Rogers say "Hmmmmmm, Trigger tastes great!" -
George Zimmerman is in the news spotlight again
CanYouHearMeNow replied to Brian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Wait! Zimmerman can't be shot. He's white. Everyone knows that only black people get shot. -
Child Abuse or Not? You be the Chief Judge
CanYouHearMeNow replied to DomesticViolenceByProxy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Well this is pretty easy. Apparently 'Parent A" is white and 'Parent B' is back. And that being the case, 'Parent B' is allowed to use those epithets since 'Parent B' is black. As everyone knows, blacks can use those 'N' words without it being racist, but don't say those words if you're white. -
I guess some people are out $99.99. Mark Wahlberg is out $250,000 since he lost his bet to P. Diddy that PacQuiao would win. https://www.bostonglobe.com/lifestyle/names/2015/05/03/mark-wahlberg-loses-his-fight-bet/4Iik6GRyKQabJVAm1u4JoL/story.html

Chuck Norris warns of government plot to take over state
CanYouHearMeNow replied to Brian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Hank Johnson didn't misspeak. Anyone who follows what this guy says on a routine basis knows he's not very sharp. He really believes an island can tip over. He said what he means and means what he says. He may have been corrected by his staff later (after they all did a collective face-palm) but he represents the intellect of his district well. These are the same people who kept voting for Cynthia "5000 prisoners were killed by our government and then dumped in a Louisiana swamp" McKinney. -
Whites don't insist on having everyone (e.g. media) refer to them as Irish-American, etc. While we are proud of our heritage we are also proud to be an American. Many blacks aren't actually African-Americans but some are Caribbean-Americans and they get grouped into this 'new' class. I say 'new' because it's probably the 4th name change this racial group has gone through. They've succeeded in coming up with a divisive term this time. Being closely associated with Military or non-Military families for many years, I've found most call themselves Blacks just as we call ourselves Whites. Black Ame

Blacks want to say that the "N" word and "Thug" are demeaning to them. I guess they also don't understand that the term "African-American" also brings a sentiment of separation and is offensive to many Americans. They want to be called African Americans but then they chant 'Black Lives Matter' and tout 'Black History' month. African-American is offensive to Americans who are proud to be Americans and don't feel a need to hyphenate their European lineage. Some people may not feel that "Thug" isn't demeaning towards blacks. Some people may not be offended by the term "African-American"

Kristina Brown awake according to Bobby Brown

Yeah, I'm not sure he meant DNR. A Living Will\Advanced Directive is what most people want to have in place so that you can decide what you want to happen so you can make clear your desires that your dying is not artificially prolonged. Here's a Living Will form for those who don't have one. http://www.doyourownwill.com/living-will/states.html -

Expanding patio and covering with a roof - WHO?
CanYouHearMeNow replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Estimates can vary greatly. For a 28 x 24 covered porch I was quoted by one firm that it would cost $21,000. Another company quoted $12,000. Another guy quoted $5,000. -
Time to Shred now that your Taxes are done
CanYouHearMeNow replied to mancfan's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Of course you don't want to shred supporting documents for your current tax filing year or earlier years. It's best to look to the IRS for guidance on what you can shred. Anything older than that you should feel safe in shredding. Period of Limitations that apply to income tax returns Keep records for 3 years if situations (4), (5), and (6) below do not apply to you. Keep records for 3 years from the date you filed your original return or 2 years from the date you paid the tax, whichever is later, if you file a claim for credit or refund after you file your return. AT&T to end two-year contracts next month?
CanYouHearMeNow replied to Brian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Verizon went with a similar program a while back. They call theirs EDGE. We bought iPhone5s back 2 1/2 years ago and they basically include the cost for the phones into the rate for 2 years. When my 2 years were up I had to threaten Verizon that I was going to leave so they reduced by bill drastically (since I had already paid for the phones). I just bought iPhone6s for the family and with the EDGE program the 2 year contract (at NO interest) is for the phones only and then I pay the same low monthly rate for service that I had previously. At least now I don't have to worry about calling t -
From their web site... The Chattahoochee Technical College’s Public Safety department maintains a force of 25 Public Safety Officers that are Georgia POST Certified Police Officers. All CTC Public Safety Officers have the power of arrest and the authority to enforce all Federal, State and Local laws in a fair and impartial manner. Their jurisdiction includes the entire campus and extends to any CTC property controlled by the Technical College System of Georgia.

It's true this starting at the top. And some might say Karma gave Beverly Hall what she had coming to her.
-
You might be able to get it done cheap at one of the local hotels...
-
Of course. The Justice system isn't blind and black people charged for the same crime as white people always get worse sentences, right.... I'm sure these teachers wish that Beverly Hall was still alive so they could try to hang all of this on her. Afterall, they were only doing what "the gov'ment told us to do."

TrendMicro is okay for virus detection. Malware detection, not so much.

Yeah, it's just that with today's drive by media, anything that a cop does that could be construed by the general, uninformed public, as being wrong will be made to look like all cops are going rouge and are all bad ones. Too bad ABC/NBC/CBS doesn't start a campaign of showing a different story every night where a cop saved someone from being murdered, drowning, etc. You know, fair and balanced reporting...

This scam has been talked about on the morning shows and the network news. I do love those phone calls from those "Windows" folks who say that my computer is causing problems? "Which computer? - I have two desktops and 4 laptops." "Windows computer - but all of mine are Apple or are running Linux." "You're with Microsoft? Me too! When were you hired - what's your employee ID number?"

Ok Conspiracy folks - step in here

I found this interesting that it's the same story for each store. "The I-Team has learned that none of the five affected stores have sought any plumbing permits for future repairs." With the distance and time between these particular stores being built, and right now it's only 5 stores, its difficult to imagine that the same plumbing contractor built all 5 stores or that these particular 5 stores would have similar geophysical conditions that would cause these plumbing issues at the same time. There seems to be more going on here. It wouldn't take 6 months to halt these particular store
